Famous Tate Appliance & Bedding Centers

This was my first purchase from Famous Tate and I would happily return again for future appliance needs. I was attracted to their being a family owned business. My dishwasher was proving to be on its last leg, when I decided to research options. The price and inventory sold me right away at Famous Tate. I ordered online and promptly heard back from their rep, Steve, to set up delivery. I was up and running with a new dishwasher just two days later. I’ll attempt to make this simple, we had a 12-year-old black, LG counter depth, French door refrigerator. People never seem plan for a fridge failure, and we were no different. It started to fail on Wednesday, August 2nd and we were able to get a repairman out the very next day only to find it would be cost prohibited to attempt to fix. I spent the better part of 2 days on the computer and phone hunting for a like model and I was finding the earliest I could be getting one delivered was Aug. 24 and some as late as Sept. 18th which as anyone would think, is totally ridiculous. Then I was fortunate enough to get Lane Saxton on the phone from Famous Tate of Clearwater. Right off the bat he listened to my dilemma and what our needs were and asked the right questions to get a totally clear picture of what we wanted and needed and went to work looking on his computer. He did find something but said that before he told me and got my hopes up, he wanted to check if the computer was correct and wanted to visually confirm it and asked if I could hold for a couple of minutes, to which I did. He came back to the phone and his demeanor immediate had me imagine seeing him with a big grin of his face that he had the solution to my problem. He told me that he had a counter depth, GE Profile, in black stainless steel with ice and water in the door and the very best part, asked if my wife and I could hold out until sometime on Sunday (2 days from then)? After what I was experiencing on the phone and computer for that last 16 hours, you could have knocked me over with a feather after hearing Lane say those words. We finalized the sale over the phone, and it was in our home and running in less than 46 hours from making that sale. I have been retired since 2016 and I spent 23 years in retail with the last 6 years of work selling appliances for Home Depot (who by the way, like most of the others, couldn’t help me out with this problem) and I have absolutely no reservations at all referring anybody to deal with Lane Saxton of Famous Tate of Clearwater as his skill at the ability to fully understand the customer’s needs and the follow through to get the job done is the epitome of optimal customer service which makes him a huge asset to Famous Tate of Clearwater which I hope they are fully aware of and recognize!

Had a wonderful experience looking for all our kitchen appliances at Famous Tate. Rob G. spent a lot of time with us comparing the differences between several models and sizes of refrigerators. When it can time to pick out a range, Rob turned us over to Brandon, who knew more about gas ranges than anyone we’ve ever met!! He introduced us to a brand we knew nothing about, Capital, which had exactly the configuration of burners and grill we were looking for in a 48” range. So happy to find sales people that actually know their products and have the patience to deal with us!! Thank you 😊.

I had a washer and dryer as well as 3 mattresses and frames scheduled to be be delivered the same day. As this was for a second home, I coordinated the delivery with my sales person to arrive the day my flight landed in the afternoon. The delivery was on 2 trucks as one truck did only appliances and the other mattresses. Both trucks showed up on time and the delivery was smooth, drivers professional, and meticulous in their set up. Over all the consumer experience from beginning to end was top notch.

This was the best experience I have ever had purchasing an appliance. I checked the pricing with Home Depot as well. The price of the refrigerator was basically the same, but there were other major differences. I got a much better/longer warranty for the same price at Famous Tate. At Famous Tate they were willing to take off the frig. doors to get it in the house, Home Depot was not. I am a Veteran and get a discount at Home Depot but not good no appliances. Famous Tate gives a 5% discount to Veterans. Home Depot estimate had taxes applied. AJ at Famous Tate did not put on taxes, because the frig. met the government energy efficient program. Hands down Famous Tate is much more accommodating and knows the business!!!

From the moment we stepped into the store, till the moment our old washer was gone and the new one was running, everyone and every step of the way was amazingly above and beyond! Our salesman Michael Fisher guided us through the store and made sure we got the best washing machine for our needs and budget, and the delivery team of Prishal and Jose took such care removing our old washer and Perfectly installing our new washer. We couldn't be more happy with everyone from start to finish, thank you all for going that extra step above and beyond the call of service for us!

We got our appliances package from Famous Tate. They had a great selection of appliances to meet the needs of all consumers. Patrick, salesperson, did a nice job of putting together our package and worked with manufacturers to get us our items in a timely manner.

The prices are more than competitive. The service is great. The selections provided are the best in town. Very clean. Very courteous and the price is beat. Everybody and I did try to beat their price. Kudos to all those at Famous Tate. That thanks for the best deal in town.

Michael was an outstanding sales person and incredibly helpful. We had a great selection and Michael was very patient with us as we went back and forth over our options. We have since had our appliances delivered and installed with excellence and couldn't be happier.

We had a very good experience working with Robert Grafton. He helped us find the right refrigerator for our space. He took the time to answer any questions we had. Also the woman (I apologize, I cannot remember her name) who answers the phone and takes messages is wonderful, kind and helpful.
