Dollar Tree

This is a really nice location, unfortunately this is my least favorite Dollar Tree to shop at. There is CONSTANTLY a long line despite their being several employees who seem to be working hard at not working. Today was no different. Big long time, one lonely cashier trying to keep up, and the other decided that was the time to go outside and enjoy a smoke break. This location has potential but is poorly managed by adults who have zero work ethic.

***update** Was told by a line of employees outside that the store is closed. Photo is of the employees just standing outside. This location needs to be closed. Moved into the area a year ago and always wondered why there were strange hours posted/posted signs about unable to hire employees. Today I finally went in and realized the reason… the manager on duty when I was there does not care about the store… A black woman with blue/black braids- was sooooo unhelpful and sooo very unkind to a male employee- several of us in line just blinked and looked at each other- baffled at the attitude the manager gave this poor boy who was just trying to legally to his job. She claimed “she had been here long enough to know whatever… etc”. That’s what clued me into why this location is doing so poorly. Hopefully the employees here don’t get treated poorly constantly!

I love the dollar tree with the prices and sometimes selection and I know you get what you pay for experience wise but this location specifically went above a beyond to make me feel awful. For background I had accidentally locked the bathroom key in the bathroom which I understand is frustrating and I was greatly apologetic. The worker I told told me "thats fine i guess nobody else is aloud to go to the restroom today" and rolled her eyes. Then she very loudly and with a lot of emphasis on how annoyed she was told her coworker what I had done and they very loudly talked about how hard I made their lives. I understand being frustrated at the mistake I made but I wish they had at least been more secretive about how upset they were at me.

Due to high inflation, we buy more thing's at this store. The wife purchased decorations for fall and Halloween. Prices have gone up, it's now 1.25 per item.

I came in to purchase a pad lock and was told by the “general manager” they have them but they’re in boxes they haven’t got to them yet. Thee absolute worst customer service ever.

I was at the store today and witnessed the manager curse at a customer. Just WOW. How rude. A manager!!! The what is going on there? Bad managers kill good stores. Just saying...

Day after Xmas, I went in to get paper products & supplied for a cleaning job I had the next day. The employees were very nice & even brought me the bathroom key when I mentioned I needed to use. Two A+ for today; that they were actually open (Belleview&Federal location)!! And had everything in stock that I needed.

Stopped going as store was dirty and shelves bare. New management took over Matt and Crystal, store is clean, shelves filled and it's got great bargains.

They are in the middle of getting more expensive things. So shelves aren't really stocked yet. With new or old stuff. Seems like the dollar tree stores are all turning into family dollars. Where now it could be $20 or $1.25. So BEWARE. Not everything in the store is $1.25!!!! It's like K-MART. That's what it reminds me of. 😃 HAPPY BLUE LIGHT SPECIAL

As Dollar Stores go, I must say this one is pretty good! It's clean & mostly organized. They usually have what I'm looking for (trash bags, tin foil, some cleaning supplies, greeting cards) & lots of stuff I'm not looking for! The cashier is a super nice woman with a great attitude. I'm glad to have this so close to where I live.
