Walgreens

Bad experience at Walgreens in Applewood. Went there for a FedEx drop-off and waited at the photo counter for way too long, only to have the associate finally come and rudely tell me that I had to go elsewhere. I showed her that my QR coded return slip specifically said 12700 W 32nd Ave. She said, “We don’t control what FedEx does.” I understand that, but you don’t have to be rude. Walgreens benefits by having FedEx drop-offs in their store, and when they make the experience awful, it only looks bad on Walgreen, not FedEx.

The store is great, including the photo department. The pharmacy could be better. Have had issues getting 2 prescriptions filled on a timely basis and not all vaccines listed are available. Always best to call before driving to pick up Rx or get vaccine.

Store #6883, my cashier was Margaret and she made sure I had THE BEST DAY EVER! She was so kind and lovely to interact with. I had a coupon from getting a vaccine shot and she ensured I utilized it. I have a WG super close to my house in Lakewood, but after this experience, will travel to Wheat Ridge for their excellent customer service. Pharmacy techs were incredible as well. Store super clean and easy to navigate.

DO NOT GO TO THIS WALGREENS. A relative went here for a rapid PCR test. Walgreens said the results would be emailed within two hours. After 2 1/2 hours they called the pharmacy who said the results had come back in ten minutes and had been emailed. The pharmacist said she couldn't resend and just to wait for up to 4 hours. The pharmacist was rude and unwilling to suggest an option. The results came 48 hours later.Just a horrible experience. They went to a covid test site in Lakewood to get (and pay for) another rapid PCR test. Results emailed in 25 minutes.

I went there to get my passport picture right before Thanksgiving. They were a little busy (as expected) but it didn't feel like I needed to come back. They took my picture and printed it out and it felt quicker than it should have been due to the amount of people there. The staff was polite and helpful. I would go back

I went to get a flu shot, but, unfortunately, they don't take Aetna. But that's not the reason for the one star review. As soon as I checked in for my appointment they ran my insurance. I was waiting for them to give me the paperwork for a half hour. At that point, I went to the counter again to ask about the paperwork. At that point, they informed me that my insurance didn't work and I would need to pay if I wanted the flu shot. I'm not mad at Walgreens for not taking Aetna, I'm mad that I waited for a half hour when they probably knew fairly quickly that they wouldn't take my insurance. I just wonder how long I would have waited if I didn't go up to the counter to ask. Even if they started taking my insurance, I won't be going back to this location.

Just heard that this place was robbed yesterday. So sad. Colorado is not a safe place anymore.

Constant issues with Walgreens. They make decisions on how and when to fill a script without taking to or considering the impact on the patient. No calls to the patient. Request put in in person that are totally ignored/ forgotten. This is one of the better locations for a Walgreens though heh

I am a frequent customer at every Walgreens in the Lakewood/wheat ridge area and I have never had a worst customer service experience in my life. The manger Brandy, who didn’t have a name tag, was very rude to my son and myself after I asked for a specific item and couldn’t find it with the directions she gave me. I came back and asked her again and she got really upset that she had to move away from the front register. I thought it was very unprofessional and I don’t want to ever spend another dollar at this location.

I just got my booster shot. The staff treated me professionally and quickly. I had my times for my shot confused and Robert managed to find a way to make it work between other's previously canceled appointments. Thank you all so much!!
