Pharmacy is a joke! What an unorganized mess of a place! The store itself is not terrible, but they need to just shut the pharmacy down completely and I mean ASAP! Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT EVER get your prescriptions sent here! You WILL regret it!
They are now making people use the drive through and refusing to assist people in the store. If anything is closed it should be the drive through. If there is actually a “staffing issue” then Walgreens needs to hire more people and pay them better in order to keep them.
I suggest taking your business elsewhere. This pharmacy used to be fine (especially compared to how HILARIOUSLY incompetent the Alameda pharmacy is), but the past few months it has been an absolute nightmare trying to work with them. In the past week, I've called maybe 10 times--I've chosen to sit on hold and wait 4 of those times, and every single time, I've eventually been disconnected from the call after waiting for over an hour. So, today I take time off work and go in to the store to see if someone can answer my question, and there are FIVE people behind the pharmacy counter. If Walgreens hopes to retain its customer base, it's going to need to make some changes. AND a good start would be removing that garbage "We're sorry to keep you waiting, a member of our staff will be with you shortly" message that plays EVERY TWENTY SECONDS when you're on hold.
Pharmacy staff are SO unkind and unhelpful. Passed me off to 3 different people and then hung up on me. Takes a lot for me to feel the need to write a review. No professional establishment should be allowed to treat customers so awful, especially when they’re trying to get urgent medications!
BUYER BEWARE!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!! I just called this pharmacy and was fourth in the que when I asked via the automated system to speak to the pharmacist. EXACTLY two hours later the system disconnected my call. This store and the Belmar store have to be the worst stores in Denver right now. Rude and dismissive employees. They resent it when you ask for patient education. Long, long holds on the phone when calling. They dispensed me a new Diabetes medication without letting me know it was an injection pen and that it needed to be refrigerated. Then they copped an attitude with me when I demanded that they replace it. It was a medication that cost well over $700.00 - one would think they would be more conscientious about educating me on how to care for a new medication that was that expensive. I called their District Manager and he was nice - but stated to me that he didn't blame me for transferring my prescriptions to Wellpower's Pharmacy after they were incredibly incompetent and rude. There is an obvious crisis in this country with pharmacies but anyone has to be able to do a better job than Walgreens. I lasted five years as a customer and I am done being patient. Sincerely - find another pharmacy!!! .
Walgreens is such a pathetic corporation. Their app is useless and requires you to physically tell the pharmacist you’d like to receive the prescription you’ve been getting for the past 24 months, every month. Whether it flags my insurance or Walgreens says it’s infinitely “in progress” I have never received a prescription or had a prescription ready for me after requesting it through the app. Absolute trash. There’s a reason every location is rated 2 stars
Pharmacy is very painful to work with. They close at odd times for odd reasons. I just moved to this pharmacy but will now be taking my business elsewhere due to how long it takes to get meds filled here.
This pharmacy is the biggest joke ever we just moved and tried to get a prescription through here, first off the head pharmacist that was here this night told her she doesn’t wanna get in between our old place and here which it’s like isn’t that your job? we just want a prescription? And now I’m sitting in the drive-through and they’ve got this girl waiting forever! I probably only should give a one star
The pharmacy hours are unacceptable. If you have a job your will not be able to utilize this pharmacy. No bathrooms for paying customers. Poor store/ location management.
Right now this walgreens is my favorite.. the pharmacy staff are always very pleasant and great to deal with. I like working with them.. the pharmacist always seems to remember who I am and is really sweet.. I don't see her often but when I do.. things always go well. Update: in n getting more and more frustrated with this pharmacy.. their customer service is poor and the pharmacy techs have been treating me poorly much more lately for idk whatever reason. They have been making me feel like a criminal and are constantly are making me look like I'm the one at fault for everything. I got new insurance and brought the card in and all and witnessed the girls putting in the info and for some reason I can't get my med refilled and I'm being told it's my fault and that they won't do anything about it. I used to get really good service and I used to get treated better but now I don't.
