They do not stock or staff their store well enough to handle the traffic that they get. I routinely have to ask for assistance just to check out. And their inventory is never accurate. I would recommend going to any other Safeway in Boulder than this one. They are all way better at staffing and managing their stores

This Safeway location is constantly understaffed and it takes forever to check out every time I go. I’ll avoid this location and go to the competitors from now on if the lines continue to be ridiculously long. Step it up Safeway!

The closing manager "Jack" is very rude and unprofessional. He started cussing at my friend and I across the entire store while we were trying to find heavy whipping cream, all because it was 7 minutes to closing time. But he kept trying to kick us out early "Because he wants to go the &#^% home". Words from his mouth were not the to be used by a "Manager". Telling us "Are you guys going to #$%king close out now!". He yelled that from the self checkout area, all the way to us near the dairy section. I had expressed to him that he was acting very unprofessional, and he tells me "I don't have to listen to someone like you, I've worked here 10 years!". I will be back to discuss this scenario with the general store manager tomorrow. This man should either be fired or switched to a different shift if he can't handle keeping the store open until 11.

Absolutely insane that they would make an employee individually walk each customer to the bathroom so that they can unlock it. I had three employees standing around trying to decide who would be the one to walk all the way back there with me. Just unlock them and inspect more often, this isn’t an appropriate fix

There was a woman in the store today who was obvious having a mental breakdown due to losing a person. She was caring for in the store. I do not know the exact situation but I do know an employee named Natalie was loudly talking about the woman and how she was crazy, further upsetting the woman in crisis. Real nice way to diffuse a bad situation where a person needed patience and kindness during a time of crisis. I know your store is not staffed nearly enough for the volume but you’ve gotta train your employees to not be garbage humans. Natalie-treat people how you’d want someone to treat your sister or mother. I rarely come here anyway, I just spent $300 here and I will never come back. Go to king soopers, they are staffed, their staff is kind and it’s actually managed

I am extremely disappointed with the Safeway store on Arapaho in Boulder. The website indicates that certain items are in stock, but every time I have gone there, they have not been available. This has happened three times now, and I am fed up. I rely on this store for my grocery needs, and their lack of accurate inventory tracking has caused me a lot of inconvenience and frustration. I will never be using this store again and would strongly advise others to avoid it as well. Safeway on Arapaho in Boulder clearly does not prioritize customer satisfaction, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

The guy on check stand 3 at 7:30pm Monday May 1st was an absolute embarrassment. I greeted him and he in a surly moan I thought was "hello", yet he was asking for ID for beer, I laughed and gave him my ID and proceeded to ask how his day was and again in a vacant surely tone mumbling again typing away on his iPhone as I purchased items from your company with my daughter there to witness all the glory of someone who not only didn't give a s**t but made it very clear he was annoyed about us chosing to have a cashier instead of self checkout. Wow! In 25 years at that location that was epic!

We do most of our grocery shopping here. We were very dissatisfied yesterday when we went in to grab a few things, and because there was a large event going on, they weren't letting anyone, including paying customers, use the restrooms. My wife is 7 months pregnant, and as such, should have been given access to the restroom. We shop here because of proximity to home, but I think we'll venture a little further out to pregnancy-friendly grocers a little down the street.

I've been on a very particular medication for 7 years that's essential to my ability to function normally. There's been a complicated supply problem in my area that's forced me to bounce from CVS to Walgreens to King Soopers and now, finally, Safeway. Frankly, I REALLY wish I'd just started this process at Safeway to begin with (especially considering I do most of my grocery shopping there anyway). Not only have they been able to quickly and regularly fill my script (Store #2911), the pharmacy staff has been extraordinarily friendly and sympathetic about the importance of the medication. Additionally, the Safeway App was extremely easy to setup and allows me to quickly submit refills, check status, receive notifications, etc. This was 100% NOT the case with the other pharmacies' apps. Moreover, the other pharmacies rarely even pick up the phone, requiring 2 or 3 trips to the store to fill one prescription. Thanks Safeway!
