    I had to have 3 remakes done with the NIKE brand frames. Both the regular and sunglasses would start to crack at the top and sides inside the NEW frames. The cracks would slowly progress each day. Each time they would take the newly purchased glasses when the remake orders were placed, leaving me to wear my old prescription glasses and wear them for another 2 weeks while new ones were being made. They could've let me wear the damaged ones as a common courtesy until the new ones were finished, but didn't. I finally got fed up with the craftsmanship, return visits, the 2 week wait time and inability to get it right. I got my $ back for both pairs which took another 5 days for the $ to post back to my account. Staff acted bewildered and weren't apologetic at all. They actually told me after the fact, that the NIKE frames weren't a good frame (why sell them then?). These frames were also unadjustable and couldn't be tightened. They never bothered to tell me that either. I went to Lenscrafters and received better customer service and better quality glasses (Oakley & Ray Ban). They only took 7 days to make. C'mon Man.

    Went in to renew my prescription for contacts, the doctor convinced me to buy a different brand of contacts than the ones I usually buy saying that most customers prefer that brand. Turns out it is more expensive and make my eyes water like crazy. I had only ordered a couple months worth of these contacts so my prescription is good for another 10 months. I called to have them switch the prescription back to my regular brand which I've never had any issues with and they said I would have to come in for an entirely new visit. Additionally the woman on the phone was kind of rude and condescending about relaying that message. I have gotten my brand changed on my contacts prescription many times at other places without having to go in and pay for a new appointment. I would rather set up care and get an entirely new prescription rather than go back to this place.

    I’ve been a regular at this location for 7+ years for my annual eye exams, but I’ll be finding a new place after my recent experience. I was told by a doc I’ve never worked with before that my prescription changed even though I felt my vision with my current glasses was still sharp. I reluctantly bought a new pair of glasses with a credit card (I’m a broke college student). Tried the new glasses and they make me feel motion sick/disoriented, so I went in for a recheck and was told “maybe you need to adjust to the new ones” — nope, so I booked a recheck at a different location where my concerns were validate & my suspicions confirmed — my old prescription is the correct prescription. So I paid a few hundred dollars for nothing. I did not need a new pair of glasses, and I do not have the money to be throwing at unnecessary expenses. Huge bummer for me, especially after many years of being a regular customer.

    If you have more time than you know what to do with and want to spend many trips to this place, go for it! Oh, and with several trips in, it is likely that the manager will be rude to you. Good luck!

    Absolutely fantastic place to get glasses and your eye exam! They did a fast, professional job. Everyone was very friendly. The eye exam was fast and everything they did was well-explained. They have a good selection of frames and did a great job explaining all of your lens options. They also let me know exactly what my insurance covered so I was able to get the best deal possible. Really solid experience!

    Heather and her team at VW @ SW Plaza are absolutely wonderful. I was having an issue with a new pair of glasses I purchased at my local TN store. Long story short, Heather and the SWP team stepped up big time and are taking care of me with exemplary customer service! Truly taking pride in not just their store but the Visionworks franchise. Thank you for stepping up when my local TN store failed.

    All the lady's here were unbelievably helpful, Very family friendly environment, and are willing to do whatever they can to get your eyes where they need to be. Just be courteous and polite and you'll have the best eye exam experience of your life!! And if you're going to be late, just give them a quick call.... Common courtesy....
