Petco

One of the caretakers was giving the hamsters their sand baths. I love that he set up a little show for them to "watch" while they were cleaning up. They didn't have our ferrets specific food, but we were able to order it on the app for the another location. Just really cool to see the caretakers be so awesome with the animals.

Petco always does an outstanding job with my Nova. She looks so pretty & smells so good when I pick her up from her grooming appointment. All of the employees go above and beyond, I’m so happy with the service I always get fro Petco.

I always come here for nail trims and I’m always treated so kindly! Today Robin took care of my dog Topaz…Although it was busy they were able to squeeze me in last minute and I was so grateful. Great customer service. Thanks Robin!

Been going to Petco for dog grooming for a couple of decades. Robin at the Lakewood/ Belmar location is a true pro. She's easy to work with and does a wonderful job on my hairy beast.

I was waiting for an associate to bag my crickets when I overheard another associate trying to help another customer get a leopard gecko. When I looked over I was baffled at what I saw, the associate was letting the customer grab their leopard gecko out of the tank!!! I used to work at a pet store and know first hand this is NOT OKAY!! The associate was afraid to grab the leopard gecko. NOT ONLY THAT, but these girls knew absolutely nothing about how to care for the animal. They didn’t even know the basics, now I’m not in anyway shaming the girls. I am mad at how the associate proceeded, these girls were asking if the leopard gecko would bite and she said “yes but they don’t have teeth, I’m just still too scared to touch them. Their tails can fall off when they’re scared!” Then these girls ripped their hands out of the tank in shock. They had no clue! They thought that they were docile reptiles and didn’t require much handling or care. Finally the associate lady just put the box in the enclosure and scooped up the leopard gecko, she then proceeded to say “we don’t handle these guys much so they don’t get stressed out, I also don’t want to get bitten either! Go home and do more research about him!” I’m sorry I just don’t understand how you can sell an animal to people KNOWING they have absolutely no clue what their doing and most likely don’t have the right stuff either! This is why I don’t like shopping at Petco, their workers are poorly trained and know little to nothing themselves. It’s sad to see that this is happening.

My youngest daughter has been saving up for a fish and we decided to go after school Today. Eugene was the absolute best and helped us so much! I was truly grateful for him guiding us on the proper care and the best products to buy for her new pet. It was honestly refreshing to have that type of customer service! Thanks Eugene!!

They have always been super helpful and kind when I do pick up orders. Always prepared to help me when I have made a mistake and have options ready when my product is out of stock. Shout out to Jennifer for great customer service!!

from somewhere else. My vehicle is not running currently and I had to make arrangements to even get to a store to pick up the order. When I got to store I still needed food for my cats, so I had to purchase two 3 lb bags to be able to feed my cats. The original order offered a promotion of $16.88 off the price of the at $49.99 for a price of $33.11. I was then had to but two 3lb bags and was charged $63.98, causing me to pay an additional $30.81 for the same amount of food I had ordered online.

Nice store we buy items for our dog and fish. Decent pricing and friendly staff.
