The customer service from everyone at this location, and the Manager (whom I just met last week because he was the one ringing up my order) are fantastic. They really care that the customers are being helped and want us to come back. Their love of pets is obvious. The manager listened to my small concern that I always have trouble loading my points and patiently helped me out. He recommended some really good, fresh, human grade dog food, and even gave me a sample! My dog really likes it. Very professional, friendly, and courteous. I will definitely be coming back to this location!

I brought Cubby in 8/9/23 for severe itching I am an over the road truck driver from California and Cubby is my road partner and have been for the last 11 years so we came in and he was not feeling good and I can’t say enough about the help and information that was given by Dr Weberg and the staff so friendly and helpful as you can imagine not easy having you’re furbaby sick and being away from home the staff and Dr made me feel so comfortable and reduced my stress and I’m sure Cubbys as well!! I thank you so much and as you can see he is back to himself!! Lol! Thank you for making our Vet visit that much easier! I’m so thankful to you all!! Thanks again!!

We had the best experience buying a new lizard for my son yesterday. I wish I knew the name of the associate who helped us. Not only did she stay 45 after her shift to hep us, she compared all the prices online to make sure we got the best deal. The manager on duty was also super helpful and nice. Arvada, CO store, we will be back!

Everyone at the Arvada store is always so nice and helpful! The wait time is really long to get help or to check out, which is why I gave 4 stars but the workers alone would get a 5 star rating!

My experience with Petco at this location. When you work with people and pets it takes a certain kind people to make you feel comfortable. with knowledge support guidance and follow up from walk on to walk out. Thank you Christy and Doctor .

Walked in 15 minutes after store opens. Walk back to grab some super worms and a nice lady at the reptile area nicely welcomes me and all was great till I walked to the register and no one. I patiently wait for about 7 minutes and couldn't see anyone so I called the store and no one answered. I walked up to vet department and asked for help she nicely called for help and no response. This gentleman standing not far from me, was talking to a guy comes to find out it was the cash register. Cashier didn't even agnolige me and couldn't even say hold on I'm helping this guy. Then 3 minutes later walks up to register and says imma check this guy out even though I was in line waiting . Not worth the feeder or other supplies! Way better service at petsmart 100%

I love this Petco. The groomers are so good to my dogs and they get so excited to come here. They do such a perfect job with their nails too. I always worry because one of my dogs has black nails and it's very easy to knick the quick but they always do them exactly the right length. And everyone here is so nice and friendly. I appreciate them having their pronouns on their name badges too.

The groomer was awesome, that's about it. My son recommended Petco to have my 2 dogs nails trimmed, said they did a good job for 15.00. He takes his 2 dogs to the Thornton location. I made an appt for a "nail trim" only for both my dogs for same day at 80th/Wadsworth location closer to my home. The girl at the desk recorded all the info from my vet records that I was asked to bring. It was decided only one dog would be done b/c of medication issue and that was fine. On the counter is a price list and it clearly states a la carte "nail trim" 12.00. I thought each location charged a few $ different and was happy to pay that and leave a tip. After the trim I was handed the bill and went out to the register to pay it. I was asked if I wanted to leave a tip and I casually said what is the total now with taxes? When she said 21+ dollars I was in total shock and disbelief. I said that cannot be right I just saw the price list thats when she said , "you had the nails buffed". I said what is buffing? Not one time on the phone or in person did anyone mention buffing, what it was that it was extra and did I want it. Obviously I didn't leave a tip since I am on a fixed income. What a rip off shame on Petco When I went back to the salon the same gal said oh I'm sorry I will make a note for next time that you only want a trim???????????????? The right thing to do would have been to give me a credit on my next trim which now will not take place. BEWARE...

We adopted a new kitten and brought her home immediately. We didn't have any supplies for her, so I ran over to this Petco, which is the closest pet store to my house. I got some great advice on kitten food from the staff. While the selection of cat food and litter was good, the options for litter boxes, bowls, collars, and toys was somewhat limited. After I bought the supplies I needed, I compared prices with other stores and found Petcos prices on the products beside litter and food were very high. They didn't have many kitten collars to choose from, but we did find this adorable collar with little silken roses on it. It was $10 which seemed like a lot to spend for something so little, but it was adorable, so we bought it for her.

Jade is always very happy coming to Petco, she gets all of her wonderful outfits and new toys from here! We have always enjoyed picking out new toys, bones and clothes here. The stores overall have made a huge turnover, this store is clean, well stocked, well employed, and overall very friendly. Everyone looks like they are actually happy to be at there jobs it’s wonderful getting to have a beautiful shopping experience time and time again. Thank you Petco for being our trusted shop for Jade.
