Famous Footwear

I went in the store just to browse and ended up walking out with 304$ worth of shoes and socks. They have a pretty decent selection of shoes, boots and sandles, but the service is what really sets this place apart from the others. The two ladies behind the counter are a hoot. They are obviously best friends and enjoy their jobs. They coached me on what socks to buy/wear with which shoes and gave me some tips on how to break in and wash a few pairs of shoes I purchased. I'll be back for sure.

Worst customer service. We ordered some slides as a gift for my niece, they sent us something that was labeled for someone in a different state(but container had my name and address on it) , they will not refund my money unless I take the (wrong shoes)into a store to return them. which is in the neighboring state as we don’t have a store in the state we live in. I cannot ship them back as my work schedule doesn’t work with the shipping offices hours and I shouldn’t have to pay for gas to fix a mistake they made.

Worst experience customer service ever. 1 associate was behind the counter texting. I asked about a women’s wide shoe, her comment was we don’t have any since Covid. Really???? I think her name was Carayan

Very knowledgeable and friendly. Had an order issue from another location. The wonderful sales woman knew what we needed and how to get it. When went so far as to notify us that the particular shoes we were looking to purchase were different than the ones that we had originally planned on. It's online purchasing as it is customer service is a must.

I mainly rate places on their customer service and how they treat me, it’s just something I value as a customer, is to be treated nicely. This place definitely did that and I felt so welcomed here. The lady who helped me look for the shoes I wanted and also rung me up was so sweet and kind. One of the nicest people i’ve met. Definitely recommend this place especially on the customer service and friendliness.

If I could give no stars I would. My husband and me were shopping for new shoes. The plan was to buy two pairs each. As we were trying on shoes not even 10 minutes the store is full. An older red headed women approached us and asked if we needed help. I kindly declined, finding my shoes size can be a struggle. And definitely finding the right running shoes can be even harder. She followed behind us making it obvious. It made us uncomfortable we decided to eventually leave empty handed. As soon as we thanked them and said bye to her and the rest of the employees she IMMEDIATELY stared at our feet. I feel so upset she made us so uncomfortable and honestly - borderline discriminated against. My husband and I are close into our 30s and have acquired tattoos. As most of our generation has. Nothing offensive or inappropriate. I felt she was unprofessional and completely targeted us. Please hire more staffed that is kind, professional and diverse all while holding true to your companies prevention of theft. Thank you.

Have to update my review again 2 years later to include Nina, the store manager. She was absolutely fabulous with my kiddos: putting them in good shoes to support their growing feet, explaining different ways to lace them to support their feet, and just making the entire experience enjoyable while teaching us! It's great to interact with someone who is so obviously passionate about their career! 2 years ago review: What a great store and experience! I went in just to exchange shoes and received such great service and help that I walked out with two more pairs. Jason was so knowledgeable, helpful, and patient and, with a bum foot from not wearing good shoes in the past, I really appreciated his expertise!

My review isn’t necessary for this location but more for Famous Footwear as a company. I was forced to buy shoes online because of the lack of selection in all near by Famous Footwear stores. I placed my order online and never got a confirmation email or any support from customer service after I had contacted them. After over 10 days of waiting I finally received my shoes and they sent me the wrong style and color. I contacted customer support and they didn’t help me at all! After fighting with them on the phone over several days they finally agreed to send me the right shoes, the shoes that I originally ordered and paid for. When I got the replacement shoes, they had sent me the wrong style and color once again! This company does not care that they made a mistake and they will not fix this issue. I would never buy from their online platform again.

Not alot of selection but you cant blame the store for supply chain issues. I was able to get a pair of winter boots in my size but not the brand I wanted. JBU or Bare Trap. Staff was very helpful

Pretty decent selection of brands and assortment of each brand. The employees are always super nice; they greet you, ask if you need any help and also give you a pleasant farewell all without being obnoxious about it. They seem genuinely sincere.
