Big 5 Sporting Goods

Was looking for outdoor gear for kayaking. REI was a spectacular fail. Big 5 came out the hero. I'll be checking Big 5 for gear from now on. I'm impressed by their inventory.

We came in to purchase a gift for our son. Assistant Manager Tom Greenfield immediately hassled us and made us feel as if we were criminals, took what felt like an unnecessarily long time, and made the overall purchase experience one that I would describe as unpleasant. I certainly wouldn’t recommend Big 5 to anyone based on my experience today.

The ft Collins big 5 has a better selection than the that closed in Longmont, prices are very good

Bought some white shoes. A couple of the shoes I opened looked like they were worn and returned and put on the rack to sell as new. 1 pair was nasty inside, like unwashed feet streaks inside white shoes. I really hope that's not the case, but I don't know how else to explain the conditions for some of the shoes. I ended up purchasing some that were actually new.

Great prices and as always, phenomenal customer service. Cashier Dani and Asst. Manager Easton know their products, their stock, and how to get the best deals. Dani did a hassle free return, purchase, discount and order in one smooth transaction, and Easton knew what sneaker was the best alternative to a discontinued model, where to find them, and even switched out the laces for the colored ones we bought. It's a pleasure to shop there.

I always find just what I need here. Recently I bought a kayak carrier for my kayak which makes it so much easier to access lakes. It has been so useful to get my boat to the shore. Great products at a reasonable price. Great knowledgeable people!

Went in looking for a specific item. Young lady at register greeted me, asked if she could help me, then took me back to the location where my item was. Helped me select the necessary product, walked me back to the front to ring up my purchase I was in and out in 2 minutes total!! Great job!

Subsonic 300 blackout ammo is way over priced purchased a couple of things with the rounds and didn't realize it but they charged me 40 bucks for a box of 20 not cool.

Can't give zero stars. The kid that's a "manager" lied about bat return policy. You can't get your money back from them or the manufacturer for a defective bat. And the glove he said "fits"me doesn't. Just because I can bend my wrist and it touch my wrist with glove is silly way too size glove. Terrible customer service and the products they sale are cheaply made or complete knockoffs!. Dint waste your money there

Staff is friendly, if somewhat hands off, and always willing to locate things when asked. The selection of sporting goods is quite good, especially given the size of the store, and the prices and sales are very competitive. This is a low key place to shop, not a lot of hassle, and fun to just browse as well.
