Sam's Club

One of the only upsides about this sam's is how dead it is. It seems they have 4 employees running the whole store and it shows. Their options for products pales in comparison to Costco. Checking out is a nightmare with nobody running the self checkout and when it comes time to pay good luck with their card readers actually working. their cafe is the worst part. Always 1 person running it and they are out of literally everything by the time you're even able to get up to order. Their own brand liquor options are fairly solid but wildly inconsistent with what's in stock. Store is clean and they do have good snack options but not much else. Unfortunately this is the only bulk store local to castle rock but if you don't mind the drive I would definitely suggest saving your money for costco.

Our Sams club is great! Handicap parking and entry available. Love love love the scan and go option it makes it so easy to get in and out. However, there is so much fun stuff to look at in every aisle so take your time and look at the limited time items, the store manager sale items, and of course the clearance items. My family enjoys Sample Saturdays!! And I’d say it’s about an 85% we buy what we’ve tried. Bathrooms are clean and is handicap accessible. There is also a family bathroom. Last but not least the customer service is pretty good, if you need to find an item and not sure where it’s at… ask and they will tell you or find someone that will help!! Loved it!

The quality of the Castle Rock location has gotten substantially worse over the last 6 months. I am a 20 year member and will not be renewing my membership. I pay $100 a year for the privilege to enter the store and there are no staffed check out lanes. It's cool if you want to have some self check out lanes, but don't make them all self check out. I can't wait for Costco to open in Castle Rock.

Hire some employees to ring up groceries. I am constantly having to ring up a full cart of groceries at glitchy self check kiosks designed for people only grabbing a few things. Last time an employee had to come over and bend everyone's cards upwards to get the machine to read them. If you want me to ring up my groceries do you also want me to come in the morning and unload the trucks? Can I mop for you while I shop? Don't get me started on the loud volume of the robot floor cleaner machine. I hate it here, I am sticking with Costco. I have never been forced to ring up my own groceries on a problematic machine with no counter space and I've never been blasted by a shrieking beep while I shop at Costco. The prices are high and the produce is a mess of tipping stacks if moldy berries. Home decor prices are laughable. But the reason I'm jumping ship is lack of putting employees on the registers where they are needed. Don't lie and say labor shortage. If you spent your billions of profits on keeping employees you would have plenty. If you want the customers to do the work for you, discount them.

we’ve been shopping here for more than 2 years since we moved to Castle Rock with our young children. Not only is the checkout process a nightmare ( the system never recognizes gift cards but will accept any other form of payment no problem ) but this location regularly stocks and attempts to sell expired and moldy food throughout the store for their customers to purchase and get sick from? The robot that cleans the store ( since they don’t have staff apparently ) had a hefty stack of straight up rotten food piled on up it .. left by yours truly! Why would I continue to spend money on a membership where I have to check myself out each time and be treated like a thief every time we walk out the door? I’m all set on a membership renewal 👌🏻

Sam's Club in Castle Rock is a hidden gem! The location is convenient and it's never too crowded. They have a vast selection of products, but their sushi is the real star. The sushi alone is worth getting a membership for. Give it a try, you won't regret it! 🍣🛒👌

Food Court Long lines and slow staff. The eating area is also gross with messy floors and a garbage bin that is overflowing. Could be more seating because it’s a battle to find a spot for a family of 5. I don’t recommend the food court here.

I don't even know why they bother having a cafe. They never have anything available and if they do, they only have one person working both the register and the kitchen therefore making the wait time EXTREMELY long. Today, there was no cheese and therefore no pizza. They can't use cheese from their store? Very unsatisfied, been coming here for a year but honestly, probably worth the drive to Costco because I at least know I can count on them having a working Cafe.

Never have any lanes open only self check. Lines are long and they have several employees standing around but nobody opens a lane up.... Then they funnel you like cattle to a person checking carts and receipts where you are "required" to wait... Screws that I'm not waiting anymore you waste our time enough cancel my membership if you want I'm not waiting anymore...

A very nice well stocked and well lit store. Most Sam's Clubs are poorly lit and dingy looking.
