Rockler Woodworking and Hardware - Denver

Staff is friendly and helpful; this is my go-to woodworking store. Rockler also stands behind the products they carry with solid customer service. They credited me for an unused item that was gifted to me 2 years ago... They even gave me the current market value vs. the (expired 2 years ago) gift receipt value that was 25% less!!! They don't have everything, but they have enough to get you going or some workarounds in a pinch. Dont plan on outfitting your entire shop in store based on the website items; they just dont have the space. Seems like they added a larger wood selection and expanded the store since I was last in there, but it is still a strip mall location and not a warehouse. WAY better than any big box store I have been to if you want to do any wood working.

I love this store a little too much. Since beginning my woodworking hobby a few years ago, I've spent a lot of time here. Without exception, I've found the staff members very helpful. They're always happy to answer my questions and point me in the right direction with a new project. I've also taken two classes here—a woodworking fundamentals course and another one on finishing. Other than purchasing the wood itself (which I source from a local hardwoods supplier), Rockler is one of my go-to places for woodworking supplies and needs.

Great woodworking equipment and lots of beautiful wood. As an added bonus, these guys are very helpful.

Update: I've had to come back a few times for some other things and I wanted to update my rating from 4 to 5 stars because of the continuous exceptional customer service I get here. Definitely recommend. I don't know much about woodworking but they seem to have a great selection of everything you would possibly need to make furniture or any kind of wood project. Specialty woods, hinges, handles and pulls, tools, ventilation/air filtration, pen making supplies etc. They were fairly busy when I went but I could hear they were friendly and helpful to everyone in the store. I went specifically for 1/8" and/or 1/4" plywood or hardwood. I only saw plywood in Baltic Birch, with not solid woods that met my needs. I would shop here again if I had any woodworking needs, I feel like this seems like a great local place to shop.

Great with what is on shelves.. (But., there's a lot more jigs and accessories that are available that they just don't carry). It gets busy and i feel like having to wait 20 plus minutes just to ask which area has what i need is (i feel) just too long a wait [they desperately need more customer support]. I saw lots of people that somehow work at the store., but don't help out

Went for a class. It was great, but now I have more tools on my wish list. Always great customer service at this store. Tracy was a great teacher.
