I had brought my Range Rover here many times for big jobs and had gotten my car back fast and fixed. I have referred this shop to everyone I know. I brought my classic truck here to get it checked out assuming it would have the same care and consideration as my other vehicle and I was VERY wrong. Not only was I lied to multiple times about the work being done on my car and the timeline it would be done by, I was told repeatedly by Jon’s receptionist as well as himself that my car was “not worth fixing” and the engine is failing. I went in to pick it up and was told that the work that he said had been done had not been completed (3 days after he said it was) and was told to come back later that afternoon. When I did, he was not there, but the receptionist gave me the bill with charges consisting of things I did not approve or need. for example, I was charged 10 for windshield wiper fluid. I later talked to Jon about his approach on explaining what was wrong with my car in hopes we could reach an understanding and that I felt he was very disrespectful to which he shrugged off and said that “most of my clients want the truth” after I explained that this car was extremely sentimental to me and that I would be taking it to the mechanic who built the engine as his diagnostic was surface level and incomplete, trying to not get upset due to the office looking that of a day care with children and dogs running around. I left upset and with a $340 bill for changing spark plugs. Heres where things get FUN: I dropped off my car with a real mechanic to which I was instantly texted (on a Sunday night nonetheless) that 2 OUT OF 4 SPARK PLUG WIRES WERE CHANGED. I payed $340 to have an incomplete job!!!! This shop is terrible and scams women. I know if I was a man approaching this situation, I would not get the level of disrespect and blatant disregard that I was shown. My mechanic has advised me that if he truly believed my engine was failing then there would be no point in changing the spark plug wires.

I was having trouble with the alternator in my van not charging the battery so I called these guys and they said "bring it in first thing tomorrow." I got there shortly after they opened and Jon was able to give me an estimate on how long it would take to get a quote and then fix. He was able to fix it a bit faster than he expected and the van was up and running right as rain. He was very helpful and kind. The service and parts were all about what I expected price wise, and he was even able to throw in a larger alternator because it's a wheelchair van with lots of extra electronics.

Fast and cheap repair shop. I ran over a nail in my car, and they had my tire patched and ready to go 30 minutes from when I dropped it off. Highly recommend

This place was really great and checked my car out on short notice. I had some concerns especially since I was planning on driving across country. They put my mind at ease and were super great. Totally recommend this place!

took my car to this place to get my oil changed about a year ago and thought all was well and good till the next time i needed an oil change. Took it to two different shops so far and both broke the wrench bit to get the oil filter housing off. this shop tightened it so hard or put some sort of sealant on it that no one can get it off without breaking the housing or their tools. currently taking it to one more shop before i pursue other actions

Had a critical coolant leak in my vehicle days before a long road trip home. Matt took the time to hear out my issues, and ensure that I got back on the road in order to make it home on time. So much gratitude to this location and Matt specifically.

This place tried to scam me on some brakes. I took my car to Robs for the first time recently to get an oil change since I live down the block. They told me I needed new front brakes, which I declined. Then I brought my car to my usual mechanic, and not only did they say my brakes are perfectly fine, but the back ones will need to be replaced first.

Used to be a great, honest repair shop. Took my truck in for brakes this week, had my catalytic converter stolen off my truck out of their lot over night and they basically told me it wasn’t their problem and that it would be $2700 to repair. They have no cameras or security on their lot and this will continue to happen! Brought it in for brakes, picked it up essentially totaled. Take your car somewhere else where they take responsibility for the vehicles in their possession.

We are all sorry this happened and we do currently have an open case with the boulder police department and can’t discuss it any farther then that

We were visiting Boulder from out of town and our alternator died on Friday around 3pm. Almost every shop was going to be closed for the weekend and we were supposed to leave Sunday. I found 2 places that were going to be open and after I called each, I just got a good feeling from my phone conversation with the mechanic at Rob's. We had our car towed there and after diagnosing it they said it could be ready for us Saturday around 11. I was incredibly happy we weren't going to get stuck extra nights. However just a few hours late we got a call saying the car was done. He wanted to make sure we could make it home on time and stayed late to get it done. On top of that, we were staying about 45 min away with friends and he stayed even later so we could pick it up. Incredible service, incredible work ethic, and just plain amazing kindness. I would highly recommend Rob's after our experience.

Great mechanic located in the heart of Boulder. Had an alternator problem and they were able to get me back on the road in a few days. Quote was fair for good parts and quick turn around. All the staff was friendly and great to deal with. Local family owned business, which is getting rarer and rarer in Boulder. Appreciate their help, time, and knowledge!
