Dollar Tree

I normally don’t come here too often but when I do, they usually only have self checkout open no matter how long the line is. And they have one employee standing there watching everyone check out instead of getting on the register. This might be Dollar Tree policy but I feel that an employees time could be better spent especially when the line is long and no register is open. However, I came in the other day and had a full cart. Dave, who was watching over self checkout, noticed that I was pregnant and asked if he could check me out on the register. He then proceeded to unload my items onto the belt so that I wouldn’t have to bend over. He made sure he wasn’t rushing me while I bagged my items and even opened the door for me when I was leaving. 5 stars for Dave. The Dollar Tree itself is probably more like 3 stars.

The Asian guy who was at the counter never seem to be liking his job. This was the second time I have checked out with this guy. My toddler son politely said hi to him and the cashier didn’t respond. This has happened 2nd time at this store. My son said he is not replying. Upon hearing that also this guy didn’t respond. And on top of that this Cashier was rolling eyes on seeing my toddler excited looking at the items he purchased. No customer service whatsoever! At least pretend that you have a job you are thankful for and you are happy about it. Staff at this store needs atleast basic customer service training!

not exactly a dollar tree considering that they have items for $1.25, $3, and $5, but good products for cheap prices nonetheless

Very organized and friendly staff. They have self checkouts, which I haven't seen in other Dollar Tree stores.

Always stocked and neat and bright. No clutter and boxes in your way while shopping.

So much new stuff, shelves stocked, not busy clean and self check outs

Very clean and well-lit store, well-organized. They have a great selection of cards - we picked up a birthday card and Mother's Day card. My daughter also found a couple of interesting movies on DVD.

Been to two stores both very poorly stocked

One of the least expensive places for senior citizens to purchase items, including food, is Dollar Tree. This year 2022 senior citizens received a cost of living increase of 5.9%. Dollar Tree raised their prices from $1 to $1.25, THAT IS a 25% increase. The "new poverty level" is every elderly person on fixed income. I wish Dollar Tree would give anyone over 65 a 15% discount, that would bring prices down to the equivalent 6% price that our elderly citizens deserve, for equality in true cost of living.
