Worst pharmacy out there. Went to pick up prescription, they said “sorry it’s not going to be ready for another hour”, go back an hour and 15 min later and they say “sorry it’s going to be another 45 min.” Like are you kidding me?! I called them to complain, because the medication I’m waiting on is for my 11 month old in so much pain, the gal on the phone says “sorry I’m short staffed so if you know anyone looking for a job send them my way. I have 200 prescriptions waiting to be filled so all I can say is I’m sorry.” Are you kidding me right now? That’s exactly what she said. You do not say this to customers. End of discussion. I’m finding a new pharmacy.

The newer pharmacy team is absolutely awful and unprofessional. I understand that they are short staffed but that is no reason for them to be rude to people who are just trying to get the medicine they need. I've been going to this pharmacy for almost 4 years now since I've been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Dealing with this pharmacy has been so much more stressful than dealing with my actual illness. The newer staff the last year is obviously overwhelmed because they take it out on the clients and have no sense of customer service skills or empathy. I waited on hold today for 45 minutes just for them to answer and ask to put me on hold and the phone disconnected on their end. I called back and waited another 30 minutes and when the women answered, I mentioned they might be having technical difficulties and she told me "no, there's only 2 of us here and we're really busy". That's such a poor way of management skills and for them to intentionally dropping calls is ridiculous. Just leave me in the queue until you have the time to properly assist me. This isn't the first time they've done this. Once I actually got through to someone and explained my situation with my insurance, she was extremely rude and unprofessional. She was yelling and arguing with me over the phone and then put me back on hold without telling me what she was going to do next. I will be going in person to file a complaint, get proper help from the supervisor, and I will be having my prescriptions sent over to a different pharmacy. I'm tired of the stress caused by this pharmacy and their lack of empathy and customer service skills.

This review applies to the pharmacy only. I’ve never had an employee be rude to me but I can tell by the look on some of their faces, that they seem to be extremely stressed out, unhappy and overworked. I’ve been using this particular pharmacy for over 3 years and over the last several months something big is changed. It’s next to impossible to get someone to answer the phone . It takes frequently 3 to 4 days to refill common prescriptions if not longer. Particular medications that cannot be filled a day or 2 early means that you are likely going to be completely without them for a few days at least which can be dangerous. Also Very often the pharmacy abruptly closes during their normal business hours. I’m not meaning during their normal lunch hours. As I understand it this is due to staffing issues among many of our Lakewood/ Denver area Walgreens so they are shifting current employees from store to store. Unless the working conditions for the company in general have degraded to a point where no one wants to really work there , I can’t imagine why they are so bad for such a long time now.

I had a nice long, detailed review written up about my horrendous experiences at this pharmacy but for some strange reason, Google "can't post my review at this time" no matter how many times I try to submit it. Seems a little sus to me. But suffice it to say this pharmacy is an absolute joke. The drive through is never open. Never with any warning or ability for customers to know if or when. And you can't even call ahead to ask because they NEVER pick up the phone. And if you happen to have half the day to stand around waiting for your script....literally half the time they're out. And you can't find out until you've wasted half your day standing in line bc you can't call ahead and you better not dare try to ask any questions before it your turn. And the pharmacist? What an unprofessional nightmare. At least the one that I dealt with that refused to sell me the syringes I ALWAYS buy at this location bc she accused me of using them for nefarious reasons. Nvm the fact that I was literally filling my injectable medicine at the same time 🤦🤦🤦. Oh yea and for good measure....I had my prescribing Dr. call in the verify everything I said and she accused HIM of nefarious agendas. This was probably at least 6 months ago maybe longer. I don't want to get the wrong person in trouble. All this to say.....I ould tell stories for days about the horrendously unprofessional, rude, and downright chaotic operation of this joint. Oh wait! I tried to....but Google won't let me post it. And I know it's not for content reasons bc they tell you when it is. I already pulled all my scripts and advise anyone reading this to do the same. I can't believe they still have customers after running it like this for the last year or however long it's been since this death spiral began. Speaking of....I've been using this location for years, and have never had a single issue until the last year or so. Idk what the deal is but I'd venture to guess that someone very specific running the show is to blame. The Frontline workers are just stuck working in this nightmare circus they've been handed. Btw....this isn't a reflection on the store itself. They continue to be as great as ever.

The latest mess with this pharmacy. After spending 2 hours pulling teeth to get my prescription filled. They only filled 30 NO 60. SO they charged me full price for half the meds. They also seem to be demanding my original prescription bottle to fix THEIR MISTAKE! It's just one disaster after another. Called corporate, never done that before but this is absolutely rediculous. Spent 30 minutes on hold before getting hung up on. Now I have yet another story of dealing with their understaffed and overwhelmed pharmacy. I called in to get my script filled on the day it's needed as early as possible due to having a 10 hour shift to go to. They again hung up on me on hold. Then had to call back and sit on hold for another 35 minutes (I literally checked the call time). I was literally on my way to walk to the pharmacy when I FINALLY got an answer on the phone. They said the scrip would be ready at 2pm... 4 hours later than anticipated and 2 hours after the start of my shift. Finally was able to get it (supposedly) by 11. I just want to live my life and not have to spend an hour on the phone every month just to get my scrip filled. It's like pulling teeth. In short, absolutely horrible on every level. Not the pharmacists fault, they're paid terribly, understaffed, overworked and untrained. Walgreens is just too greedy to do their job correctly.

I've been using Walgreens pharmacy for years with no issues, until the last 3-4 months. The new staff here is horrible! They are rude, will lie and very incompetent! I miss being able to just pick up my prescriptions without an issue. Now every prescription has an issue to be dealt with and it's very frustrating. They just don't care...

Do not use this pharmacy they are dangerous. I recieve BCP for my DUB disease first time using this pharmacy they canceled my prescription and deleted my information (huge hippa violation) second time go to refill prescription and they cancel it for no reason use any other pharmacy these people are not well enough trained in the medical field to understand you cannot do this stuff!

Two weeks in a row they’ve canceled my vaccine appointment. I understand being understaffed but if you know staffing is an ongoing issue and it wasn’t a one-off weird day, stop taking vaccine appointments that you will probably not be able to honor so that we can go elsewhere.

The store is going through it at the moment. There's a sign outside that says pharmacy is drive-thru only due to staffing shortages. But when my medication was delayed, all I had to do was call and my orders were filled. The staff were polite and transparent about the fact that I may not be served as I showed up fairly close to closing time. I think this store is doing their best and I've had consistently good service from them over the past six months.
