Great shop. Gavin and Phil at the front are not salesman and won’t sell you things you don’t need. They are the only counter agents in town that listened to me when I called with my problem. They took the time to find me a coupon to help with the cost. Gavin got me uncommon parts at a fair price. James was the mechanic and he stayed 30 minutes late to finish the job. They were all invested into my car and gave advice to extend its life. They love cars and are happy to help. American owned. Honest work. Thanks again

What an epic shop, not only do they have quick accurate complimentary inspections with every service, but their techs are the best in the industry. Where else can you get everything from an engine replacement to a simple oil change at lower costs than the dealership. Great staff great service.

Gavin was EXTREMELY helpful. He made sure I understood everything wrong with my car and walked me step by step to make sure I was fixing everything I needed. If you're going to go to Pep Boys, go to this location. If Gavin can help you, you will have a phenomenal visit. My mechanic was James and he got my repair done in a single day, now my car is running like it was when I originally got it. Thank you!!!

I walked in with my husband. No one was in the store lobby. I went to the restroom that was very dirty. I then go back to the lobby and no one has came in to see why we were in the store. I walked to the window thinking they didn't see me. The first gentlemen aloud me to ask my questions. He told me I would need to ask the manager. He looks at another man who say, "I'll be in, in a minute." We are waiting in the store for about 10mins. When the phone rings, he walks into the store and answers. I walk to the counter. I start off by saying, "You were recommended by their neighboring parts supplier, and I know some locations around the country sells parts in the store, but..." Before I am able to finish he cuts me off saying none of our stores sell parts. For a place offering a service, the manager doesn't seem to understand the importance of customer service. So I walked out. I was ready to pay to have a work done to my car but if I can't explain what I need and ask questions about parts, I don't see him offering quality service. I had to take my business to a competitor down the street.

Everyone at this location was amazing. With everyone I talked to it was like talking to expert mechanics. They explained everything clearly and made me understand the why behind everything. Amazing experience with everyone. Phil was especially helpful and awesome!

Gavin helped me replace all four of my tires and provided the most excellent service. Him and the rest of the team were constantly communicating with me, making sure I knew everything going on, and were so helpful throughout everything. Will absolutely be going back!!

I ended up today spending hours just trying to purchase and install 4 tires for my vehicle today. I ended up going to three Pep Boy stores to accomplish this. I finally ended up at the North Academy store where they confirmed they had my tires available but didn't have time to install before close despite the previous store stating they would. I have to tell you I was very upset and to make a long story short Navin came to me as I was walking out the door in disgust, to tell me they will get this done for me. This is customer service at its very best. Thank you to Navin and the entire team for making sure my car got four new tires installed because my previous tires were in bad shape. Any business I do with Pep Boys in the future will be done at the North Academy location. God Bless You all! Thank you, Troy.

Phil and Gavin were super helpful! I thought I needed an alignment when I actually needed a balancing. They talked to me, and made sure I was getting the correct service tp solve my issue, which also saved me money. I appreciate the looking out for me and the wellbeing of my vehicle. Definitely coming back for another service.

Went in for an oil change & scheduled maintenance/inspection. The technician spilt oil all over the inside of the hood of my car. And I left with a new radiator leak on my new car! When I brought it back in asking about the putrid smell, overheating, smoking, and the fact that my coolant levels are dropping every time I use my vehicle, Eion (customer service representative somehow?) Treated me like I was 4 years old. And proceeded to tell me “Did you know it’s 92° outside? Obviously your engine is hot sir.” Does that explain the coolant levels and the smell and the smoking though? He rejected me service on top of being extremely disrespectful. I brought it back in when I realized something bad happened to my car at this shop. They inspected it acting like they cared I was treated like trash and rejected service. And BINGO a radiator leak that SHOULD HAVE BEEN FOUND ON MY FIRST EVER VISIT UNDER MY MAINTENANCE INSPECTION. Even got to see the technician checked off a part confirming the radiator was in perfect condition. Now I get to pay thousands out of pocket because instead of hiring actual trained technicians they hire incompetent scammers who refuse to take responsibility! Save yourself the 7 visits and thousands of dollars and bring your car somewhere it can actually be SERVICED.

I was having the worst day, down to one car for our family of 6. Got my tires at this Pep Boys originally, I was convinced they would not work with me on my flat on my AWD. Elon helped us, THANK HEAVENS FOR GOOD PEOPLE!! He was able to take care of us at a price we could afford. I will always come back here if he (or good people like him) work here!! I was on the verge of tears walking in and we are smiling walking out! Thank You Elon-- THIS MAN DESERVES A FAT RAISE!!!
