This location is a joke, and the workers they have there aren’t qualified to change a tire. This location is terrible, I wouldn’t go back if things were free. Terrible customer service from employees who hate their job as much as their lives. It truly is a miserable experience in this U-Haul. Save yourself the hassle and don’t go here, u less you want zero service, zero help then these losers are for you. Seriously people, read the reviews and run far from this place. They are TERRIBLE
The place is a little older but was well stocked on packing supplies and clean from what I could tell. This is the only reason it received 2 stars. The service representative there the day I was either needs more training or more motivation. I went in for a specific item. I was told the person that works with those items won’t be back until Wednesday(this is a Friday). I said I’m not looking for someone to install it just to buy one. He said, oh you’re going to install it. He mentioned that was much easier. I then had to ask, well can you look it up? He said that I could look it up online and pick it up. I said well I’m here now, is there any way you could look it up? He just gave a glazed look with no response. I realize you can look on the Internet net and come pick it up at the location. However, if you’re at the location the representative should be trained well enough, at least to look it up on their system.
I made an appointment through their central scheduling, a few weeks in advance, to get a trailer hitch installed. I dropped my car off right when they opened, which was also my appointment time, and got a ride to work. They called me 5 hours later and said they didn't have the parts in. When I tried asking what the plan was from here, IE: do I leave it there and it comes tomorrow, do I reschedule, etc... the girl said "I don't know what to tell you, the part's not here". I asked if she was able to track it, and she told me feed ex doesn't offer tracking, which I know to be false. I said okay, and called the central scheduling to see if they could help me figure out the next steps or get me rescheduled, and they said that the tracking showed the part was there, and even if it wasn't, a nearby store had it and she could go get it and install it. They called, and the girl would not cooperate with them either, so they rescheduled me for the next day elsewhere. When I got to the store to pick up my car, it wouldn't start and had faults saying the braking system was messed up. The girl said that was my fault because I hadn't told her my car was a hybrid. It's not. Which I told her. She then said, yes it is, and you didn't tell me that, and I even checked your door frame and it doesn't say it either. So, long story short, the employees aren't qualified in any way to be touching vehicles, and have no sense of customer service or even honesty.
I entered all my credit card info, twice, and then all drivers license info. I wanted to ensure a quick pickup right at opening. When I went to the location and selected “ready for pickup”, I was told I had to wait for an agent. This was not what was indicated and it delayed me getting to work. None of my information was saved or transferred to the location, which is extremely concerning. Why enter deeply private and personal information on a reservation only to have that information go missing when picking up a truck?!? Serious IT and security concerns with Uhaul. The truck was dirty, shocks were nearly non-resistant and the truck rode extremely poor. I became concerned about my appliances since the truck rode so rough. Can you at least clean the windshield before the next customer? How about disinfecting the interior? This is common, that nobody cleans these trucks in between use and it’s gross.
Went by to fill up our propane, there were no other customers and was told by the employee who wasn't doing anything that they'd had a busy day and decided not to fill any more propane tanks. They refused to fill our tanks. We took our business to a competitor who was more then happy to provide us with propane. We will not be returning here for propane aging.
We scheduled a 24 hr truck rental and picked it up at 8am as arranged. But they insisted we return it in 23 hrs at 7am. That got my wife and I up at 630am. They were "too busy" to check in when I arrived at 7am sharp but said they would check it in "as soon as we finish another truck" and email the receipt. Now it's 1230pm, 5 and a half hours later, and they STILL haven't checked it in, and they still haven't sent a receipt. Why did I have to have it back at 7am then? Go to another place where they know how to run their business better..
The staff there is extremely unhelpful. The young kid behind the counter is more interested in what's on his phone then helping the customers. I had to ask him TWICE to wait on me. I will never be back.
Jay was AMAZING! He was so kind, patient, and diligent helping every guest. I really appreciated how seamless he made this process. If I could give more stars to him he would definitely have earned them. 10/10
I've used this uhaul location several times. Every time vehicle is un great condition, my reservation is respected, and everyones very thorough.
Wow! I was pre billed for services I did not know about o well I thought this way they have all the tools. Wrong no one was at the store at 7. I can’t believe it these people are scammers and can’t even make it to work at seven. I guess this is not a business.
