    Summary

"Nick was working the front desk and took care of checking me in."

"Their service is not good and their prices are not reasonable."

"There is nothing the staff at the shop can do because they don't work for Uhaul."

I rented a U-Haul cargo van to move my daughter. Everything went super smooth. Nick was working the front desk and took care of checking me in. He was friendly and professional at the same time. I returned the van before they closed and again, Nick just took care of everything. My U-Haul experience was outstanding. I didn't have a single issue. I recommend getting gas at a gas station that's not the one on the corner right next to the U-Haul station. The only way to it is from the back and I get the distinct impression the business next to the gas station hates when the moving trucks drive through their parking lot to get gas. But that's not on U-Haul or Nicks so it doesn't affect my stars.

As is moving isn't stressful enough, U-haul made it an absolute nightmare!! After reserving a truck two months in advance and receiving multiple confirmation emails, I arrived to pick up my truck, with no one working on that Sunday. No matter - I had mobile pickup selected anyway. Except that the total IDIOTS FORGOT TO PUT MY TRUCK KEYS IN THE LOCK BOX. I sat on hold with U-haul's GODAWFUL customer service for over half an hour and kept getting transferred to a string of unhelpful buffoons. Delayed me for over an hour, highly inconveniencing me and my wonderful friends helping me move. In the end, I had to rent a truck from Home Depot and move all my stuff in the rain...

Horrible experience renting here, truck I was assigned did not match the key I was given, truck that matched the key was filthy covered in dog fur and empty beer cans. I paid for a dolly and furniture pads that were not in the truck. I was told I would be refunded by two different people at the call center. Never got a refund. There is nothing the staff at the shop can do because they don't work for Uhaul. I have tried to call Uhaul to get the refund several times and they just transfer me around with wait times over an hour until someone finally hangs up.

I almost never review places I have been to, but I figured this business's bad rating had to be remedied. If you're reading past reviews worried that you're going to have a bad time at this location, I can tell you that I had a perfectly reasonable experience. I called the afternoon beforehand to see if I could rent a truck, showed up the next day and had the vehicle in 15 minutes. When I dropped it off I had no hassle - 5 minutes in and out of the door.

It was very easy to pick up, lots of available vehicles and friendly service!

Awful. We should've noticed the first red flag with UHaul when we tried to track our UBox with our names and turns out our reservation was under an odd combination of our names. Called a week before my final move-out with UBox and confirmed over the phone that everything was set. Then, we called the day before the confirmed date to change our truck reservation and while doing so, wanted to reconfirm that everything was still good with accessing and closing the UBox. Turns out there's no record of this appointment and they also moved my UBox from Boulder to Denver. They claimed that we haven't contacted them about my UBox for months which is not true because we've accessed it to pick some things up in two separate occasions which requires a 24 hour call notice. They also claimed that they only hold UBoxes in Boulder for a couple days but never explained to us during its initial arrival and its sustained location in Boulder for about 2 months. Lastly, they said I should have a confirmation number for the closeout which never given to me during the first call, nor the other calls to access the UBox. We were told a manager would call us back and they never did. We called in again and put in a formal complaint to check my phone recordings to prove of my communication with them. The next day, we followed up on this complaint and again(!) they said they have no record of this complaint or of the manager that was supposed to call us back. I'm super frustrated with UHaul and I'm upset that there is still no resolution with this problem. Do not recommend! At all!

Horrible experience. I was quoted TWICE at Uhaul and they misquoted me at $36 for a one way so I took it. As I was driving, I called to let them know my arrival that night to my end destination and then was charged $138 for their mistake of misquoting me. I spent 5 hours on the customer service line and got no where and it’s honestly been one of the worse experiences that I’m going to write this review. Bottom line is they were negligible in providing the correct pricing, never took a picture of my insurance, and if you can avoid using them, do it at all cost.

These guys are awesome! I was reading some other horror UHaul reviews, and unfortunately most places that deal with the service industry end up getting an overwhelming amount of negative feedback because people just expect to have a great experience. Well I must say I used these guys last year and the experience went perfect, this year I just called them up. Talked to a real person in less than 4 rings (Jennifer) she was super polite and was able to book me a reservation for the end of this month. If you are having trouble getting a hold of some of these other spots - go here!

Reserved a truck over a month in advance, handed over card details and filled in their tedious form. Only to be told THE DAY BEFORE there are "0 trucks available in the state of Colorado" This is now too late to book with another company. Thanks a bunch guys

The "$29.99 in town" truck ended up costing $85. We rented it for 4 hours on 4th if July, and they were closed. We received the truck extremely dirty (and took pictures and put that in the app info) and they automatically charged us a $25 cleaning fee when we checked out. Awful.
