Summary
"This place has the nicest, most customer centric staff imaginable."
"Great people and great service, my go to for games"
"Recently received a used controller in the mail I paid new for."
They're really into toys/clothes/gifts/accessories now that you can just download games now. It's like the Spencers Gifts of video games. Always worth it to stop & browse.
Very nice, stocked and very clean store. The staff was very friendly and attentive without being too much.
This place is awful, I bought an item here for $100 that never worked. I called them and let them know right away that it didn't work. I was told I could bring it in for a refund or exchange. I had to leave town for business and was past the 30 day return window by the time I was back in town and could bring it in to them it had been 5 weeks since buying it. I thought the 30 days was just for asking for a refund or in the instance you hadn't let them know right away the product didn't work. Anyway they would not let me exchange it for a working one. So I just had to throw away $110. Will never buy anything from here again.
Biased staff make for a difficult, if not impossible time making decisions when, as a puclrchaser, I'm unbiased and just looking for a best fit.
Clean and I got help quickly. Which as a gamer mom and two kids was really helpful=).
We had the best experience here, especially with Trevin, who stayed on the phone with us for 40 minutes (way past his working hours) to help us troubleshoot a faulty unit and expedited the return of the unit asap. Much appreciated!!!
Massive decline in experience - no reason for me to shop here anymore
The staff here is phenomenal. The systems and company they have to work on/for, however, are not. Outdated tech and a company who is, not surprisingly, on the brink of collapse, makes it difficult for friendly staff to do their job. Recently received a used controller in the mail I paid new for. Very frustrating to have to give a lower rating for people who actually try their best with what little they have.
Son just purchased a Pokémon Arceus Vstar set that says it comes with 15 decks. Got home to open it and it only has 13 decks immediately calls game stop and they say not their issue and nothing they can do about it. $75 for an incomplete set and there is nothing they can do about it?!? So they are purchasing from a company in which they are selling to their customers but not correcting errors or issues? Lost a life long customer for this we will just go to target and Walmart for our stuff.
They lost my package and when i followed all their procedures to claim they turn around and say there is nothing they can do. Just stay with other online retailers and stay far away from GameStop.
