Jessie at Brakes Plus Ft Collins is so very helpful. He gives a detailed overview of what needs to be done verses all that can be done when I asked for budget reasons. I have brought three cars to have fixed and all were done fast and efficiently. We are smooth riding from here on out. Thank you Jessie and all who have worked on our three cars. You are the best! Got brakes and rotors online with hopes my friend could install them for me, we both got pretty busy and I still needed my new brakes on and brakes plus got it done great. It was a much needed replacement for my car so when a small bolt broke inside my caliper I wasn’t surprised. They extracted the bolt and saved me the money of replacing my whole caliper. I would recommend brakes plus to anyone looks for reliable work.

What can I say more then a huge thank you to manager Jacob and the two techs Patrick and Brandon! Long story short, I bought new tires from a reputable tire store ( in which I wont name) where they told me they stripped one wheel stud and recommended Brakes Plus so they called the Fort Collins store and they fit me in. Well it turns out that the wrong lug nuts were installed and had been for over 40k miles with rotations being done every 4k by the unmentioned tire store. Each time it would pull a few threads but the tire store never caught it which lead to a potentially very dangerous condition where I could of lost a wheel. I've been a mechanic for 34 years and never caught it because I never did rotations and trusted the tire shop. That's where Brakes Plus Fort Collins rose to the occasion and quickly found that it wasn't the stud that was stripped but the lug! Jacob quickly resolved the issue with the tire store while Patrick and Brandon explained with a look of shock what had happened...I was shocked too as they were torqued to 140 for at least 10 times and didn't fail. Anyways these guys saved my day and perhaps my life? They were total pro's ,fast efficient, kind and caring! I wish more businesses operated at this level. Brakes Plus...hear me out. These guys deserve a raise!!

This location is great! The people are super friendly and helpful, and I have only had honest and good pricing from them. I get my oil changes here regularly, but recently needed my rotors and brake pads replaced. They were very reasonably priced (I had a quote from another place in town for more than twice and only for a brake pad replacement, so I’m pretty sure the other place was trying to rip me off), and they did it in great time! Very pleased with my experiences with this Brakes Plus location.

My experience at this location was awesome, and I would recommend them for service on your vehicle. I was having a rubbing noise issue when driving they were able to pinpoint the issue and resolve it. Thank you to all the team members for your great service!

I thought I had had found a one stop shop for all my maintenance needs…. Until the upsell tactic of epidemic of oil bologna by telling me that I can’t switch back to conventional oil from synthetic. The only time in my cars 5 year life that it’s had synthetic was the last oil change they did this spring. And it runs like a top with 122k miles. I know a lot of people have great experiences here and I'm sure most of the employees are honest. I personally felt like i was being taken advantage of. I went in for rotors and pads based on another auto shop diagnosis. My quote for all the work Brakes Plus wanted to do was between $2500-5500 depending on what I got done. I was in tears. My car is only worth about $3000. They told me my front calipers were seized. I got 3 other opinions on this from highly rated auto shops and they all told me only 1 of my calipers was in need of replacement but not immediately, and that I only really needed rotors and pads right now. I'm not sure what the disconnect was here. Perhaps Brakes Plus was just being extremely cautious? I like to always assume positive intent but it's hard to trust this shop after getting such a radically different and consistent assessment from several other auto shops. I will say the man at the front desk was very kind and made me feel justified in getting several opinions.

They were excellent!! I needed a ride, so they dropped me back at home and picked me up. It was also done an hour before they quoted. Especially appreciate Matthew for all his help and Jacob, the manager. I recommend highly!!

I'm a 21y.o. female CSU student (who has no knowledge when it comes to cars) and I have never felt as safe in an auto-body shop as I have here. I often feel like I'm getting ripped off when I bring in my car to get worked on, but that didn't happen this time! Torin was amazing, he took me on a tour of the bottom side of my car, showing me brakes, what happens, etc. He informed me that I still have life in my brakes, and gave me an estimate of when I should come in next to get them done. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning for any of my break needs.
