Family Dollar

The staff here are horrible people. I went in and had to complain about the horrible service I was getting and the girl there tried to intimidate my 8 year old lil girl. Tried to punk my lil girl. And now when we go in they snicker about her in the corner. Very sad. It's like this place is ran by gang members. And the manager is trash always negative just punching the machine. They couldn't even give me change for my purchase the other night. Probably stolen by thier trash employees. Update. I went by and the manager asked to talk to me and instead of talking to her her employees she told me not to shop there and now has her employees driving by my house and harassing me. Strait trash

I always shopped at Family Dollar on 9th in Longmont. Everyone there was always so friendly! The store was clean and well stocked. Not anymore! The store is filthy and has mouse droppings on the floor. The crew changes so often so you don’t have that neighborhood feeling. I needed paper towels and had to open the case to get them. Nothing is ever stocked! It’s horrible! I won’t be going back!

I'm pretty disappointed they're renavating and the prices on the floor don't match the actual price so if you go make sure the price is right before buying.. I got dwindled out of a few things...was very sad

Good customer service, some things are a bit unstocked at times, prices are a bit high But it's not a bad place to get a few things

They try so hard at the Longmont 9th street location. Super cool staff always very helpful and kind. Cheapest spot to get several items that I need. Even cheaper than the dollar store now for some items are one dollar not $1.25.

Experience was great. Clean and organized store. There was a small line to check out, but it's a small store and I went late afternoon on a Sunday so I would have expected there to be a small crowd there. But again, as small a shop as it is, one cashier is all you need! Plus, every time I've been to this particular Family Dollar, the staff are ALWAYS overly friendly and helpful :)

Customers service is great. But the place is really dirty. The fake tile looks like it hasn't been mopped in years. Would give them more stars because of the employees. The place really needs a deep cleaning!!!!!!

Store was dirty. Trash on floor. Damaged and /or misplaced product on shelves. Weird, undefinable smell. One of three Assistant Store Managers (don't know why a small store like this needs three assistant managers but whatever) implied I couldn't browse through store as only "Essential Shopping" was allowed, which wasn't true. Store Manager was curt with me and offered no justification, let alone an apology, for ASM's attitude, nor why she didn't say the same thing to other shoppers. Noticed only female workers and customers throughout store. Maybe I went in at the wrong time of the month? Would NEVER return to such a poorly run, mismanaged, $1Tree wannabe store.

The senior staff that have worked there for quite a while are very nice, even call me by name! (I go there often) But some of the newer guys are jerks, and they need to have some sort of punishment. Today when I went there it was packed, it was to be expected as it's 5pm, people are coming home from work and what not. But when there are 12 people waiting in line for one of the two checkouts, you would think the guy stacking the shelves could come help out, and on top of that, right when the guy before me got to the checkout, the ONLY Cashier on duty went on break, no one else took his place. The more senior staff are great, if they are the ones there you will have a nice, quick, in and out time (Maybe even a nice chat) But the newer people? Honestly I would rather take the public bus to walmart then walk across the street.

I learned how bad the theft problem is at all Longmont stores including Family Dollar. I recorded a customer trying to return (most likely stolen) items without a receipt. That poor cashier! I hope her supervisor appreciates her defending Family Dollar!
