STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS WALGREENS, IT IS MISMANAGED FROM THE TOP DOWN. On top of the litany of poor reviews regarding the pharmacy (which I can attest are accurate), the management at this store has zero focus on customer service on the retail side as well. On 1JUN at approx 1:30p, there were 19 customers in line to check out (including myself) meanwhile district manager Ashley was at the photo counter taking three employees off the floor to "train" them to sell walgreens credit cards at the POS. Despite the single cashier working calling over the intercom for assistance, in addition to two automated intercom messages for customer service in cosmetics and allergy sections, Ashley did not once stop her pitch explaining how to sell credit cards. I've worked in retail management for years and understand that there are KPIs and specific pushes that managers are responsible for, but the blatant disregard for customer experience and team playing demonstrated by DM Ashley was deplorable. There's no way this woman should be in management and I can only imagine how she interfaces with her team behind doors. After making my purchase, I went over to confront her to which she only replied "I'm sorry for not keeping a closer eye out, I encourage you to contact 1-800 Walgreens. She blatantly refused to give me her last name nor regional managers contact info to share this experience with, instead choosing to brush me off to entry level employees--I'm sure par for the course for this unfortunately misguided manager. While I'd long ago pulled all my prescriptions from Walgreens due to their monopolistic business model, poor generic suppliers and constant understaffing, I will never be patronizing this Walgreens again. I feel for the employees, which have always been kind and helpful here, but until there is a big change at the managerial level, I will not be returning. Had I not already been crunched for time on my lunch break due to this, I would have walked out and completed my purchase at a competitor. I encourage anyone from Walgreens upper management to reach out to me regarding this experience.

This one star is actually too much but I couldn’t do zero stars. The Pharmacy tech was rude, the pharmacist a total tool and came here because I needed eye scripts (having a hard time seeing abs didn’t feel comfortable driving to CVS) and didn’t think they could really screw that up. Even my Dr. said the pharmacist was incredibly difficult. Should have listened to my instincts again!
This Pharmacy seems to struggle to fill prescriptions even after you have requested a refill over and over. They sometimes can’t even find the prescription they apparently have filled and have to look many places to try and find and may not have success. I do not recommend this pharmacy. We are switching pharmacies today.
I’ve been on hold for an hour waiting to speak with a pharmacist over a two minute question. The lack of initiative at this Walgreens is astounding. Absolutely awful customer service.

They said my prescription would be ready in 90 minutes. Husband went in and they said they didn’t even had the medicine. Husband was upset and said do your job. The pharmacist said my husband was a jerk and told him “Fuck you.” All of this was unnecessary. Why did they say my medication would be ready when they don’t even have it. They are always slow and understaffed. The app seldom works properly. Just in total disbelief.
Wow. Ok, so I have already removed my personal prescriptions from this store due to about a year... year and a half of horrible incompetance. But this issue is from trying to get my 82 year old mother's prescription filled. For weeks we have revolved through a door of 'need prescribers authorization' (you mean like the pfescription we have???) to 'prescriber denied' (talked to doctor and his staff.... never happened.) And more. Yesterday, I picked up 2 of her scrpts,, and talked to them about this other one, again. The mumbly girl at the window again tried to tell me the doctor denied it, then switched to 'oh. Waiting on approval' soooo, I had my doctor rereresend the prescription. So, I called in today to see where we stood with it. I ended up with them saying I was lying, I picked up the prescription yesterday, and they were going to check the cameras. WOW. I offered to semd pics of the still sealed scripts and receipt from yesyerday, and they said no, they would check the cameras and call me back. I am currently trying to cool down before taking said sealed scripts and receipts to store and talking to the manager. Definitely removing all my family from doing business there. Cant post pics because obviously they are private medical prescriptions.
Won’t even exchange a $8.00 battery without the receipt. Every modern company will use the card you purchased the item with to pull up the order. Oh and you wait in line for an hour for scripts.
Pharmacy people are so rude! They promise you your prescription would be ready at one time then you get there and they told you is not. They give you a bad attitude
Terrible never answers phone even from a phone call from another pharmacy. My wife had a detached retina and is now stuck in VA 4 2 months Has a local pharmacy in va try to transfer prescriptions and they call me back saying that they are unable to wait on hold for more than 60 mins. In the past I was on hold for an hr then walked to the pharmacy 30 mins waited on line for another 1.5 hrs and they still didn’t answer my call and told them off when I got to head of the line. I see they still can’t manage the customers. They need to hire more people.
I get the worker shortage is impacting everyone, but they're not keeping up. They should raise pay, or limit the amount of customers, or something. So far just this month I've had them fill an incorrect prescription (despite saying the right one to me), not notify me when a prescription was filled, have multiple medications that were time sensitive not be in stock, have huge wait times, and more. I like that they have weekend hours but it's not worth it, looking for another pharmacy.
