They literally can't keep the doors open. They randomly and without any notice closed down the whole place over the weekend, so I couldn't get a non transferable prescription that I really needed. Half the time they put up a hand scrawled note up in the middle of the day saying there's no staff available. They often just don't even fill prescriptions that get sent in, I have to call. Don't come here if you need your prescriptions in any kind of timely manner.
They don't price match their own website!? WTH? Went in an grabbed some OTC medicine. It was marked $12.99 on the shelf, $9.99 on the website. It RANG up at 14.99 and I asked for a price match to the website and was told they don't price match their own website. GMAFB!! I can order on the website and pick up SAME DAY at that same store... and they would rather do that work than just price match me? Goodbye Walgreens!
I’m not one for a bad review but this was the icing on the cake. The pharmacy staff were very rude and condescending last time I called in. She actually made me cry she was terribly rude on the phone. I literally moved to a different pharmacy because of her - wish I caught her name. Honestly terrible experience 0/10 do not recommend.
Awesome! My prescription ended up convoluted, not the pharmacy's fault at all, and they were more than helpful in resolving the issue. Dealt with a simple, yet complicated, situation promptly and professionally. Remember, be polite and patient (pun) as they have some many guidelines on so many levels that have to be followed that we on the other end have no idea about....and they are there to make us more well too!
I too had as good an experience as possible at this facility. I didn't catch the pharmacist's name but he is awesome. The urgent care that I went to was completely incompetent and prescribed some ear drops (which I didn't need because I have a sinus infection, not an ear infection) were going to cost $1000. The pharmacist helped me find some cheaper alternatives and after I paid out of pocket, one of the staff ( a guy with a dark beard) helped me get a refund and properly charged the VA for the meds. I was most impressed because the pharmacy was slammed with customers and they still took the time to help me with my situation, filled the Rx very quickly, and made sure my insurance paid for it. I had previously been using the pharmacy at the Safeway down the street-never again, that place is horrible.
No good customer service at pharmacy. Waiting couple days to pick up my order but they said still the medicine is in warehouse. I went there several times but they’re not responsible to their job. I moved to other place now.
On contrast to the other reviews, I actually had a great experience at this Walgreens. I needed two prescriptions moved from a LA pharmacy to this one. When I called, someone answered promptly, was super nice and my meds were ready for pickup maybe 30 minutes later. The lady at the front register was also super nice and the store is big and overall clean.
My RX went from here to there. I couldn't get the same answer from any store. Then Tim (?) from store 9566 was the only one that seemed to really care and he helped me out with out.out.
I have Been filling my prescriptions here for years despite hiccups here and there. I will NEVER return after my experience today. I asked Josie how the refill will work because I was supposed to get it Friday but they were closed. She responded “yeah, the pharmacist was sick and we can’t really predict that… soooo…” ok, I completely understand the situation and smiled (despite her rude attitude) and politely said I would Contact my insurance because maybe that was a question for them. She then put down the phone and continued to make disparaging comments about me to her co-worker while her voice was amplified! Then when getting home from that experience , I realized that I didn’t have one of the prescriptions that I was supposed to be receiving. I tried calling and waited for over 20 minutes with no answer. Then drove back and waited for a bit until she came back to the window and I very nicely said that I should have received one more prescription. She then said that they have been out of that prescription for a while and to tell my provider to order it from somewhere else!!! Wow… I’m speechless… im huge on communication and customer service . One bad apple can really ruin a place. Would’ve been super helpful if they had told me that when I called yesterday and was told my prescriptions were ready and to not waste an additional hour of my day today.
Never seems to get too busy and the shelves always seem fully stocked. Great place to get photos printed as well
