I strongly advise considering other options if you require urgent or life-saving medication. Unfortunately, my recent experience at this pharmacy left much to be desired. Despite my prescription being sent at 9 am, I encountered significant delays in getting assistance. It took seven phone calls, all routed through an answering service, with none being answered by anyone who actually worked at this location. Upon finally visiting the pharmacy in person, I was disheartened to find that my prescription had not even been initiated. The staff member appeared preoccupied with extended conversations at the window, while voicing complaints about their workload. This lack of attention to my critical medication needs was concerning. Furthermore, when dealing with life-threatening conditions, it's crucial that pharmacies prioritize and expedite necessary medications. In this case, it seemed that they didn't prioritize based on the urgency of my situation. — To Walgreens, In order to enhance customer satisfaction and provide better service, please consider the following advice: 1. **Efficient Phone Handling:** Improve phone call management by ensuring that customers are not kept waiting for extended periods. Implement strategies to promptly transfer calls to the pharmacy or provide useful information through automated systems. 2. **Timely Prescription Processing:** Prioritize the swift processing of prescriptions, especially for life-saving, time-sensitive medications. Establish protocols to expedite these critical medications. 3. **Staff Training:** Invest in comprehensive staff training to handle customer inquiries efficiently and professionally. Minimize distractions during working hours to improve focus on customer needs. 4. **Online Communication:** Create an online portal or app that allows customers to track their prescriptions and communicate with the pharmacy. It would be great if you could have your prescription delivery date and time and the option to transfer to another pharmacy that can deliver faster. This can reduce the need for excessive phone calls and enhance convenience. 5. **COVID Safety Measures:** In light of the ongoing pandemic, enhance safety measures to make customers with COVID or other health concerns feel safe and welcome in your store. Consider dedicated areas for COVID-positive customers and explore contactless prescription pickup options. Taking these steps will not only address the concerns raised in the review but also position Walgreens as a customer-focused and reliable pharmacy, ultimately benefiting both your business and the community you serve.
I was diagnosed with stage 4 lymphoma in 2021. Three days after my first chemo treatment I was in severe pain from the tumor breaking up in my stomach. Was prescribed 60 oxycodone tablets by my oncologist. Pharmacist denied filling my prescription except for 10 tablets. She told me that they were out of stock due to a shortage and didn't know when they would be restocked. I had been their customer for 5 years. Like a naive fool I believed her. Had to go home, email my Dr and get a new prescription. Had her send it to the hospital pharmacy and was able to pick it up in 1 hr. The pharmacy told me that there was not a shortage. It was clear to me that the walgreens pharmacist had lied to me. I transferred all my prescription to a different pharmacy, not walgreens. I'll never use a walgreens pharmacy again.
Kudos to this Walgreens location! I was ready to switch to anything other than Walgreens after poor service at three nearby locations. I had a last minute prescription prior to traveling. No other ones in the area were willing to fill it. Very nice gentlemen was extremely helpful and told me to give them an hour. When I arrived the lady at the drive thru was so friendly and chatted while she rung up the order. Will be using this Walgreens from now on despite having three others closer to where I live
This pharmacy is awful. Don't get a splenectomy then send your vaccination orders to this location. They don't have a clue what it means or how important it is. They do NOT care about you or your health concerns/issues. Take your business elsewhere!
Had passport photos taken here-total mistake. Didn't get the proportions of the photo right, my eyes were partially closed in the photo, extremely disappointed. The photos aren't even usable. Should not have bothered. Save yourself the trouble and just use an online service or app.
Unfortunately, they are understaffed and appear to be incredibly disorganized. Drive through is always closed and obviously they haven't prioritized fixing it. They are also poor at communication. Told our physician they had everything in stock a day before, then we find out it's not in stock after I wait 45 minutes in line. I blame Walgreens, not the employees. Either pay more to not have such attrition issues and attract more employees, or just close this location. We're switching everything over to CVS. Very very poor customer experience, Walgreens.
I'm pretty understanding and I'll put up with a lot before changing my routine, but after 5 years using this Walgreens location, I'm done. I routinely wait 1 week for my prescription to be filled here. Currently I'm on day 5. Hopefully the next pharmacy I choose is better.
I wouldn’t even give them a one star I had an appointment at 9:30 to get my yellow fever shot so that I could go on an international trip I show up and they tell me that there’s not going to be a pharmacist until noon. A lot of good that does- no advance notification
Used for 4 years and was great. This past year - Absolutely dreadful. Random closures, untrained staff, prescriptions take way too long to fill. I spent at least one hour of my day being told to come back (which I did 3 times) only to walk away with 2 of 4 requested prescriptions. Switched everything to CVS and it was all done in 20 mins. Will not use or recommend. At this point they are so bad they should shut it down. Go to CVS, way more professional and totally stress free.
I guess if you like attitude with your prescriptions and don't have enough avarice in your life this might be the pharmacy for you. Otherwise go anywhere else and you will be happier. You will wait less in line, you will have people actually communicate with you, you might not have to hold for over an hour on the phone after calling three times only to have them imply you are lying even though every time they picked up to put me back on hold without saying anything I heard the background noise.
