"Clean, well stocked, and friendly staff."
"The pharmacy staff is who told me the store manager didn't show up."
"Serious work is needed on their customer service."
I called this morning because my toddler has a croup cough and needs medicine to help with wheezing. Instead of filling the prescription they accidentally sent it to a pharmacy out of state. Thankfully, I called to check on the status before driving over there with twin toddlers loaded up in the car. No apology given, just told me it will be ready in an hour. Called back an hour later and they said wait one more hour. Needs better customer service and to say sorry when they mess up. It’s not fun to have to make 5 phone calls to get a medicine when your kid is sick. We used to do the king Soopers pharmacy, but our insurance stopped taking them unfortunately.
I was visiting my son and forgot to pack my prescription medications. My doctor called in my prescriptions at store in my state and they transferred it to Bloomfield, Co Walgreen's. Since my insurance wouldn't cover this "extra" partial prescription the pharmacy personnel looked for coupons/discounts that I could use. They were extremely kind and very helpful. My prescriptions were ready within an hour. Thank you for your great customer service and understanding.
Usually my experience with Walgreens is not the best, but when I came in Tuesday evening I was greeted my a nice lady who’s name is Aurora. She helped me with my shopping and gave great recommendations. I was very pleased because usually the employees are unhelpful and do not help me.
This Walgreens location (287/Midway) is convenient for me, but anymore, shopping here is ridiculous. I usually only stop in for one or two items and the shelves are usually bare, which I'm used to, but today (11/12/22) my check out experience was bad. Just an unnecessary attitude from the check out man. They have a new credit machine since my last visit and my credit card wasn't accepted; could be any number of reasons why. The employee was so obviously annoyed by this, especially when I asked if he could cancel the sale while I ran out to my car to get cash, then redo it. He made it clear that he was annoyed with this, but eventually muttered a yes to me. After begrudgingly ringing my stuff back up, my young daughter told him thanks and to have a nice day. All he could do in response was frown at her and look the other way. Just, unnecessary, pathetic customer service.
Very hard to get a prescription filled. My doc sent in a prescription for antibiotics for my daughter. Hours later I called the pharmacy, still wasn’t ready, told to call back in an hour. I did but the pharmacy was closed. Went to pick it up the next day an hour after opening. It still was not filled, and was told it would be at least another hour. I called and had it moved to Kings and was able to pick it up right away.
Today (5/26) the store manager didn't show up and the entire store was locked. Nobody could get inside, not even the pharmacy staff who were standing in the parking lot. The pharmacy staff is who told me the store manager didn't show up. This was at 9:30am. The store was supposed to open at 7am, the pharmacy at 9am. As of now (12:30pm) the store is still locked. I filed a formal complaint with Walgreens corporate. The store manager needs to be FIRED immediately. Heaven forbid someone needed critical medication. It is absurd that there isn't another person with keys that can open the store and at least let the pharmacy open. You can't hold people's medication hostage just because of poor business planning that relies on 1 person to open the doors.
I made a Covid booster appointment online, received an confirmation email, went to the Walgreens store to get my booster, and the doors were locked, lights were on but no one was in the store. Drive through Pharmacy was closed. This was in the middle of the day, no closed signs on the door, and the interior lights were on. I know that Walgreens is having employee issues, but to close a store without notice and no signs, is a sign that they have serious issues with their business.
Good luck ever getting your prescription from this pharmacy. Not only are their hours impossible for anyone who works a 9-5 to get in, when you do find the time to go in then have fun spending 45 minutes in line waiting to be helped by a pharmacist. They will have one issue with a customer's prescription and instead of helping the rest of the people in line while they wait, the pharmacists will stand there and stare at nothing for 45 minutes while you wait. Basically, this pharmacy is completely inaccessible for the majority of the population.
Went to the pharmacy today to pickup my husband's medicine and the first lady came to the desk we informed her this was a comp case she had a fit and left the counter and another girl walked up to help us and was very rude and disrespectful and also did not want to enter the comp information into the computer and refused to do it so we left and got on the phone had medicine transferred to kings on 120th and Sheridan and the lady that answered the phone was great and a ton of help and entered info into computer and hubby got his meds like he's not been threw enough poor service and lazyness on Walgreens part I will never use them again you never know what someone is going threw. So if you don't like you're job that you picked don't work there period
PHARMACY IS USELESS IF MEDICATION IS NEEDED TO BE PICKED UP. 4 months in a row, the pharmacy fails to have my medication at the promised time. Every single time I have either had to return multiple times, or would be stung along told it would be done the next day, and the next day, etc. Today I switched everything over to Safeway. CVS and Walgreens are very poorly ran and managed across The Denver Metro. I used to frequent Walgreens almost daily for convenience when I resided in the Midwest. Will never return now, nor recommend to anyone.
