King Soopers

King Soopers Marketplace in Castle Rock is usually well-stocked and has helpful, friendly staff. However, one big issue I’ve found lately is that management doesn’t staff enough cashiers on the weekends and there are significant wait times at check-out. There have been times where I’ve seen not shopped for 20-30 mins and have to wait the same amount of time to wait in line to pay. This past Saturday, there were only two cashiers and lines of at least 5-6 people at both check-outs. The self-checkout lines were even longer. That’s very poor management.

Great super market except for the high prices but they are high everywhere so maybe they are competitive. You must download and install an app to take advantage of many of the advertised deals. Not everyone has room for yet more apps and not everyone can or likes to use them. Other than that, it is a fun shopping experience. They have a huge selection of goods with many surprise items.

Great grocery spot nearby! price is reasonable and I always bought seafood there because they look really fresh. Not to mentioned they have so many Asian food, and we don't have drive 30 minutes for the Asian grocery!

Worst kings in metro area. I’ve shopped at many kings, this one has the most rude, pathetic, frump women working the front of the store. Never had an issue at any other kings, at several other locations the staff were so polite and helpful, never actively hating their customers. I live close but will go out of my way never to shop here again, enough is enough.

It's grossly crowded at this point. Stock is always short as well. We know the; is due to the over abundance of perks with the rate of housing added but no apparent intent to expand. The parking lot is in shambles. The quaint aspect from the first year or two is completely gone at this point. The workers seem upset to be there, and it certainly could be because of the amount of clientele.

This is a great store! Usually, it has great produce, but something happened to all the cilantro? Temperature issues?? I'm not sure, but it wasn't edible and needed to be pulled from the shelves :(

I had a great experience with the bakery! Priya was great to work with. She took her time with me and made sure she got all the details of my order correct. I could not be more happy with how the cake and cupcakes turned out. I will definitely order through Priya again!!

Absolutely astounded at the attitude from the man behind the counter at the deli with glasses, dark beard, and wearing a beanie. I assume at 5:58pm on 5/1/23 that you were probably getting off of work or going on break and I was clearly inconveniencing you. Apologies, next time I’ll call and work around your schedule. I also apologize for ordering one pound of boars head Turkey without knowing where I was looking behind the counter and what seasoning I was going to choose. Apparently I should familiarize myself by working behind the counter for 8 hours before asking you to grace me with your presence. Thank you for you for your selfless service. To the management, I get times are hard finding decent workers but come on. There has got to be some standard in the hiring process. Sincerely, A dumb customer

Went to the meat counter yesterday and saw a fly on top of the sausage, so I let the guy working the meat department know and instead of trying to get the fly out proceeded to tell me that “it’s summer? What do you expect? It’s a losing battle.” Disgusting
