The guy working in tools (probably in his 40s) was awesome! Super helpful! I've been going to Home Depot for years in other places - this is the first time I was helped by a genuinely helpful person. 1 year later... Just went back for the 5th time in a year - as per usual, nobody available to help, the lumber I was looking for was absent and nobody who can run a forklift around.....

***DON’T BUY YOUR APPLIANCES**** Stay away, I purchased all kitchen appliances and install of 3 of them. Purchase on 10/15, delivered on 10/20 and still waiting for them to install. None were installed, but they keep saying ”understand and are sorry”. Now I have to wait for an appointment for installation, which they aren’t calling me till 10/24 to schedule an appointment. Mind you, I’m disabled and have kids to feed and have no range, no microwave and no dishwasher until installed. I also have pictures of how my current home is due to it just being left in the middle of the living room and kitchen.

Stay away from curbside pickup. First, i placed my order online early in the day prior. Their pickup is open 9am to 6pm. My order was ready for pickup at 6:43pm. That's great! I can't even get my order until today. So i headed to the local lumber box, and I checked in and waited for 20 minutes. Ended up having to go inside to find out about my order. 45 minutes later I finally get the 4 items I ordered. Most businesses, short staffed or otherwise, let the customers know if curbside isn't available.

I can to grab an online pick up and the “customer service” agent applied no customer service. She was annoyed to be helping me. Then said give us 15-20 minutes we will get your order. Luckily I went in and didn’t sit in my car at the online pick up parking. She claimed they were swamped. When I came back 20 minutes later, she was eating ant the counter and once again annoyed to help. There were also 5 other agents there and only 2 helping customers. This Home Depot is not great and I normally don’t leave reviews but it’s getting pretty annoying to buy things and feel like such a burden.

My wife and sister went in to the Grand Junction Home Depot to find wall paneling and some other supplies we need for my sister's home project. They did this so I could continue to work on the house. My sister found the paneling she wanted but there was a pallet of stuff in front of the paneling bin. She asked an associate if he could help her, the guy was rude, he said "What do you want". When she told him she needed two pieces of a certain paneling she decided on that was blocked by the pallets, the guy snorted and made a remark to another associate "This isn't what I wanted to do today" and continued to complain that this isn't even his department and where is the person that works in that department. My sister has balance issues so she has to use the electric cart, we don't know if that was his issue or not but don't appreciate the belligerent attitude. She then had to ask him to help her get the paneling to the front of the store. REALLY? Find another job sport, I doubt this is the first time this has happened. She did talk to the manager and he was pleasant and said he appreciates that she took the time to tell him and not just leave upset. Needless to say Mr. Personality has lost the store probably another 3 to 5 thousand dollars in sales plus I'll never set foot in a Home Depot to buy anything again.

This is the worst Home Depot... nothing is ever stocked... It is always a mess. The isles are non accessible due to boxes and items left out by staff. The employees are extremely unhelpful Update 10/4/22. Still a terrible Home Depot... isles are a absolute mess and inaccessible due to carts full of stock that has not been put away. Employees just standing around and completely unhelpful... most items are out of stock and shelves are empty

We ordered a couple of pallets worth of lumber Thursday afternoon for a next day delivery… on Friday they cancelled it because we ordered it by an hour too late (it doesn’t say anywhere on the website there is a time requirement for next day deliveries) so a manager promised it would be delivered Saturday (today) and they would waive the delivery fee for the inconvenience…we called Home Depot to see when we could expect the delivery to be dropped off…. In their system it was showing it had been delivered at 9 this morning, which it hasn’t. After about 20 mins on hold while Home Depot called the delivery service… they said there was a mix up and our order was never picked up in the first place. So our only option was to reschedule it to be delivered next Friday, change to an in store pick up or cancel it. Now that we’re asking to speak with a manager and they’re giving us a run around about connecting us to a manager. Don’t waste you $ at this store. This entire situation is absolutely ridiculous.

I’m a bargain shopper, so I usually shop both Lowes and Home Depot to compare prices, and to pay less. But after going to Lowe’s several times, and spending my time searching on my own for a few hard to find items, with no employees on the floor to ask, I went to Home Depot. First I searched and couldn’t find, so I asked a few store employees. A couple young men quickly told me to try looking down a couple different isles. It was near closing time, and obviously they were too busy to look it up and give me accurate information where to look. But when I asked an older lady in the paint section, she not only looked up the items but she said “I’ll take you there”. I had already been down that isle, but she found it after moving a ladder out of the way. Wish I knew her name, but she was working the paint area on Thursday evening (5/18/23) around 8:30 pm. To her supervisors, please express my gratitude and give her the employee appreciation (maybe even a raise?) that she deserves? And btw, I’ll be shopping at Home Depot not Lowes from now on, because of that lady, and my time is more Valuable than saving a few cents.

The store is an absolute unorganized mess. It seems every employee has a bad attitude and lacks any real knowledge to be actually helpful. The old guy who was operating the fork lift almost dropped a whole load of lumber from the top level while we watched. We asked another employee where we can find a lumber cart and he said if I have any they would be right there, pointing to a curb outside void of carts. I responded well there aren’t any there obviously and he just shrugged. This store lacks in every department. We went to go get what we needed at lowes and would you look at that they have carts in an easily accessible location and the store is clean and organized. The Grand Junction Home Depot actually makes it hard to shop there and because we have a lowes it’s also unnecessary to shop there.

The staff take good care of the store and take pride in their work. Staff are very informative and helpful - you don't even have to ask for help; if an employee notices you struggling or deciding on the best product, they provide accurate and informative opinions as well as facts. I highly recommend this store for your hardware, landscaping, plumbing, etc needs.
