Summary

"Short staff causing employees to be under lots of pressure."

"It’s annoying to wait 15 mins only to be taken care by another staff member."

"I have waited in line for over an hour multiple times here."

Prescriptions are never ready when they say they are. Customer service is almost non-existent. I stopped using this location thinking that it had to do with this specific Walgreen's Pharmacy. I now know that this is how every Walgreen's operates. I've wasted too much of my time going to pick up prescriptions that are "filled" only to be told to come back later.

Consistently the most abysmal customer service I have ever received. I understand there is a staffing shortage - that's not the problem here. I'm sympathetic to their staffing challenges and I have been patient with the long lines and wait times. The problem is that they have no concept of customer service. Every month I dread calling in for my prescription refill because there is some kind of problem every single time. I receive calls and texts telling me my prescription is ready, then leave work to drive to the pharmacy and when I get there it isn't ready or sometimes not even in stock. (It doesn't help to try to call in advance and confirm, because the hold times are insane plus even if you do reach someone you can't trust that what they're telling you is accurate.) Most recently, they told me my prescription would be ready the next day, but it wasn't ready for 2 more days and no one bothered to inform me of the delay. Again, this often means missing work to wait in a long line and then going back home empty handed. They've even made mistakes with my records - I saw my doctor yesterday and she was shocked and confused to learn that they had the wrong prescription on file for me instead of the one she had called in to them. The worst part is that no one ever apologizes for any of this. I don't need them to grovel at my feet or anything, but typically when one makes a mistake the appropriate response is a simple "we're sorry, we made a mistake, here's how we are fixing it." Admit your mistakes and say a simple "I'm sorry." That's probably all it would have taken for me to not leave this review.

I requested a refill on my medicine 11 days ago and they still haven’t filled it. I understand the supply chain is messed up, but this is a time sensitive medicine (as most are), and if there’s a problem, shouldn’t they at least let me know? If you need medicines from here, request them at least a month in advance, because that seems to be the time they need to fill them. And when they do get it filled, good luck picking them up. When I had to get a different medicine a month ago, I had to go FOUR TIMES before I could finally pick it up, so that took another week. They take, bare minimum, ten minutes with each person in line, so if there’s six people in line, enjoy waiting an hour. They never have more than one person working the orders. They also shut down their drive thru, not that that was any faster. The only time I have been able to successfully pick up my medicine is right when they open. I switched my medicine here from Safeway because this was closer, but I’ve lost WAY more time waiting in line here than I ever did driving 20 minutes to Safeway. I understand it’s an especially difficult time for pharmacies, so I don’t want to be mean, but this one in particular seems to be running at a pace that doesn’t care one ounce about the fact that you have a life and medical needs. I’ll ride this out until we move in a few months because it’s too much of a hassle to switch, but I recommend you avoid this pharmacy at all costs even if you have to drive further, because trust me, driving an extra half hour to a better pharmacy will STILL save you time.

It's a shame when you go there and most of the workers are like teenager or young adults whom don't know how to show customer service skills. Rude no smile just are always understaffed and always new people that make make lots of mistakes with scripts. I DREAD GOING INSIDE THERE A LINE WRAPPED AROUND STORE ONE PERSON UP FRONT AND SEEMS NOBODY WANTS TO WOFK THE OTHER REGESTRR. UNPROFESSIONAL

Longest wait times for a pharmacy I've ever experienced. Phone calls exceeding 2+ hour hold times every time I've called. Random hours. Short staff causing employees to be under lots of pressure. Prepare for a long wait if you're going here for your medication.

Went to pick-up a prescription for my spouse. There was supposed to be two prescriptions, but she already had one prescription transferred to another pharmacy. So when they told me they had one prescription available, I assumed it was the correct one. The charge was about $122 - which was about 4 times higher than I expected it to be with co-pay through insurance. But just assumed everything was correct. Got home and found out that they gave me the wrong prescription. Went back and they said they couldn't take the unopened prescription back - so we're stuck with this high payment for the wrong medication! Then I asked them about the other medication - and they didn't even have it ready. It had been sent through from her doctor, but they just didn't prepare it. The thing is - it seems like we always have all kinds of problems with Walgreens. Just seems like the worse place to go. And staff never seem kind or empathetic. Terrible company. Stay away.

Worst customer service. As my wife was in a procedure, I needed to make an urgent prescription pick-up. They actually hung up on the doctor’s office as they were trying to call in the prescription. Dr. was finally able to call it in, I was in person at the counter and was turned away because ‘it was 15 minutes until they close’. Refused to fill the prescription to my face. The lack of compassion and dignity at this location is astounding and disappointing. I recommend filling your prescriptions anywhere else.

They canceled all apts of covid without notice, and literally saw them denying one to a man of the third age in a walker, while still having vaccines remaining. The pharmacist was tired of administrating vaccines all morning, and they told us to wait in the store for an hour or two with the possibility that the pharmacist wont want to to do it anyways. Thats the worst pharmacy Ive ever been to. Also they always take long for prescriptions, make you wait for longer than any other pharmacy Ive been. They are terrible, guy with the knitted hat, awful human being.

The workers do the best that they can but they are severely understaffed and they never hire anyone to help. I have waited in line for over an hour multiple times here.

Came to pick up a prescription and instead of the staff moving the line along there having long conversation with customers about current events. It’s annoying to wait 15 mins only to be taken care by another staff member. People have things to do not stand and wait in line while having conversations about current events. Want to chat about that go to Starbucks and talk all you want.
