    Summary

"I don’t feel comfortable to give you a cashier check!"

"Slow service waited almost 45 minutes for a teller ridiculous"

"Rude customer service from employees (Alan), incompetent 'manager' (Juli)."

Elderly people, stay away from Bank Of America. Yesterday, I took my 93 dad to Bank Of America for an emergency, someone took a hold of his login information and a checkbook. I understand that they have appointments. But in my mind played in a way that if a 93 years old person goes in an emergency that he’s about to lose everything in his saving account and his checking account, they were going to make at least a little bit of room to solve the problem. It would take only five minutes to do that. They said they couldn’t. They are busy and there have to be only by appointment. In the meantime, I saw the three employees that tent customers just talking to each other for about 10 minutes doing absolutely nothing . Elderly people, stay away from Bank Of America.

Probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had with BOA. The guy that helped me at the teller counter needs to not be customer facing. He mumbled stuff under his breath throughout the whole transaction. Saw him roll his eyes on many occasions as I waited in line. He was outwardly rude to people to the point I felt uncomfortable. He was absolutely awful!

You’re not going to believe this! I have business checking account since 11/2021 and I usually go to this location to ask for cashier checks from week to week for my business. Today 3/9/2023, I went to this location and as usual I asked for a cashier check. I had all my legal documents plus the document that states the reason for my request. The bank teller told me, my request needs to be approved by the manager due to the cashier check amount. I said ok. In public, the manager showed up and a few minutes later, I was surprised with this question! The manager said, where did you get the check from? The manager asked me about a check that I deposited a few days ago! I was totally shocked and embarrassed with the way how the manager asked me in front of the people. I said, all what you asked for is supposed to be in the system and I got this check from Navy Federal. The manager said I will call the Navy Federal Credit Union to verify this check. I said this fund already available and the transaction was posted on my account. What other verification needs to be done? The manager said, I need to do that I said okay! After waiting about an hour! The manager showed up and told me that I couldn’t verify the check! I said how? The manager said I couldn’t get in hold with the one who made this check therefore I don’t feel comfortable to give you a cashier check!!! Again, the manager told me! I don’t feel comfortable to give you a cashier check! I said it’s my money! It’s already available in my account!!! I can’t believe that manger said I don’t feel comfortable! Sounds the manger made it personal! I had all my legal documents! Everything! No pending transaction on my account which is everything were approved! Great history! The manager refused to listen!!! I had to go to different location and within a short time I got my cashier check! Less than 5 minutes! Remember what happened to me might happen to you! Zero professionalism

I'm a new customer and went in to pull money out of my savings account, and was given the runaround. Was told they needed a way to validate me, but called customer service and they were able to "Authenticate" me through email. Wasted my time at this location, will only use the ATM from now on. Don't waste your time here. B of A is really good to waste valuable time, especially this location.

Was in this branch on 1-19-2023 trying to make a transaction I've done at multiple other locations. Not only does the card require a PIN which I had, I was able to pull up the online account information with matching mailing address, card #, name and phone number. I could have even proven the SS# on the account that would have matched all my information that BofA has had on file for 20 years. Unwilling to make the transactions after I drove in the snow to complete this because it was time sensitive. After 20 years I'm now a potential fraudulent customer. Ended up just closing out my savings account to transfer money to my checking. Will be closing this checking account soon now too. Thanks guys!

Joshua Lona, the bank manager, kept it real. He knows that modern customers don't come to the physical bank unless they need to and want to be in and out. He helped me order checks, readjust the tiers of my accounts, and close old accounts all within 10 minutes. Other employees should emulate his efficiency, professionalism, and knowledge base of BOA's system.

No one answers the phone--literally spins you around the system over and over again. I am not even certain they actually have a human to answer the phones during business hours, which is extraordinarily disconcerting for an international banking branch. I am unimpressed and will most definitely not do business with BoA moving forward. I can't even find out if they have a notary and what the hours are unless I physically go to the branch, which is extremely inconvenient. For an entity such as BoA with excessive amounts of money, not having anyone to support with any kind of customer service is a shock. I hope the employees who do actually work are treated with respect and provided access to adequate funds since BoA clearly does not believe in hiring more folx to support their nonexistent customer service. I hope you are not ever forced to use this financial center--avoid BoA at all costs! Any other banking or credit union service would be much better. Edit: thank you for the link--that is helpful as it notes which branches have notaries and which do not. I was also updating this to note the branch I visited does NOT have a notary (Havanna) as your link also says. Since I could not access that info before I visited the branch, I made the (wasted) trip anyway. This branch had about 10 folx I saw working in glass walled offices, some with customers and many with no customer, so it was easy to access a human once I visited the branch. I wonder if we could have any of those people ensuring customer phone service is not lost--so I could have not made a wasted trip to a non-notary having branch? I did give one more star because the person who helped me referred me to the closest notary, which was kind.

Yo these comments are so negative. Try working in customer service and you will understand why you may have to wait a little extra when there is a high customer to staff ratio. Shout out to Patty! I did have to wait an extra 10 minutes past my appointment time (which I honestly did not mind) but she is a baller and got me started on what I needed help with rather than have me wait longer for someone else. While I was reading all the terms and agreements she had time to go help others or to make sure they were okay. I thought that was great of her to do rather than leaving everyone hanging. She was in a stressful situation and handled it like a pro. I got what I needed done and walked out of there super happy. Thank you again!

I don't see how they stay in business. I have a fraud issue on my account. I was told to take two forms of ID to local branch to resolve. I went in on Saturday to do that. Oh wait! The fraud people are not available on Saturday. You would have thought they might have told me that. Went back today. Arrived at 4:02. Young lady could not move fast enough to lock the door in my face. They only keep hours of 9:00 - 4:00. How can a working man with a job conduct business with those limited hours. If I ever get them to resolve the fraud issue, I will not be able to cancel my card quick enough. I would not recommend.
