This was my local branch. They probably deserve a 3-star, but Bank of the West overall is just terrible. We were more or less apathetic when we lived in Colorado. Crummy hours, inconvenient locations, but it worked ok for us. When we moved out of state we discovered Bank of the West makes it extremely difficult, if not impossible, to get to funds. Eventually my wife took an emergency flight back to Colorado to cash out and close the accounts. Fast forward to today. Bank of the West "forgot" to close a credit card. It got hit with a Cricket charge, we never got the bill, naturally. Now Bank of the West has labeled my credit as delinquent over a $27 charge, and charged me a $50 late fee. I've been on the phone with customer service for over an hour today trying to pay the bill and get the card closed. 10/10 would avoid.
Been asking for days now for a correction and it’s not happening. Also can’t get the contact info for anyone higher up than the branch manager. Unacceptable. I would not suggest banking here.
Opened up an account online and was asked to come into branch to verify identity. I called 30 minutes prior to showing up and said be right there. Showed up told to take a seat. Later gentleman came over and said no one could help me until after 2pm, told me I had to leave. Bad customer service all the way around, bad listeners too
I have had nothing but problems with this bank branch!! I am so close of just pulling all my savings out ! I went to hand the teller at the drive up window the debit card to the checking account along with valid drivers license with 500.00. Cash wanted it deposited. He ask I fill out the checking account number on the paper. I said well this is the debit card and my ID as I don’t have the account number because I never use checks. He said If I don’t write in the account number On the deposit slip he refused to take my deposit! He didn’t offer to even research it or anything.
Staff was polite and helpful but messed up a simple transaction. I now have three hours in trying to correct the mistake.
I love this bank! They all treat you like family rather than a number. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and always genuinely ask how your day is. I won’t ever bank anywhere else.
Only issue I have with this branch is Somer isn't the friendliest teller. Payday comes around and I have to think "do I want to have a hastle with Somer today or do I want to have a smoother experience at a different bank"?
The Loveland branch manager is the best! She deserves her position. She is very experienced, professional, helpful and very kind. Everyone at the bank are also very helpful and kind as well.
Lobby closed. One lane drive through open. This location has been going down for a while. Looks like the ship is sinking now.
Closed early for no reason lies about operations hours. Terrible customer service. Not helpful at all. Got to be the worst bank there is
