Over the weekend, a friend and I went to Dillard’s cosmetics for makeovers, as a part of a birthday celebration. Isabella and Bella did our makeovers. They were lovely and passionate about doing the makeovers to our liking and preferences.

We went to Dillards just to window shop today. Mary in the fragrance department greeted us and helped us look around. She must of let us smell over 20 different perfumes. Not only was she super patient with us, but she was very knowledgeable. She can tell you all of the ingredients in almost every single bottle. It was actually very impressive!! She has a very fun and inviting personality! We laughed the whole time. I ended up leaving with three different perfumes! If you go here, ask for Mary! She’s great!

I needed to grab one item-a white shirt-for a wedding. Not only did they have the shirt, they were able to help me with sizing and gave me useful advice concerning what sort of fit I should go for. Very useful, wonderful staff, very helpful.

First, the staff in the intimate’s department was never around. I used the button to call them three times, and they never came. I never received any help on something that does require it. Next, I understand being understaffed, but to walk around the store for thirty minutes asking multiple employees to help me checkout and being denied, and then continuing to try to find A DIFFERENT employee to help me checkout is pretty unbelievable. No staff in intimates, no staff in teens, no staff in shoes, until finally I found a worker in skincare just walking around. Shocking and really disappointing.

Worst Customer Service! Bought a $200 pair of boots. They started falling apart at 40 days. I went back with the boots and the credit card statement. The men's shoe dept. associated was rude, the shoe dept. manager was swift and unwilling to exchange the boots. And the store manager gave me the runaround. This was my first and last time shopping with Dillard's. Nordstrom would NEVER do this! Dillard's you have lost my business and your reputation.

I hate being watched like I am going to steal something!!! The last few times I have came in here I bought over $300 worth of stuff. I had multiple employees staring at me the whole time. It made for a very uncomfortable experience! Except for the employee Marti, she was very sweet to us!

Very well maintained store! Sales associates are friendly and knowledgeable and they always know what I’m looking for before I even know it lol. They also have all my favorite brands like Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Free People, Vince Camuto, etc... and it’s all easy to shop because of how organized and clean the store is. 10/10 recommended for everyone of any budget as well.

The men’s fragrance manager proceeded to make me feel guilty for choosing to return two items. I found a cheaper deal saving me almost $100! She said “This affects my commission…I don’t like that. I spent all the time with you and you don’t even want it.” She spent 8 minutes with me and no one was waiting. No more shopping at Dillard’s.

My husband returned a pair of pants that I changed my mind about, simply because I did not feel like dealing with the pushy in-your-face sales ladies again. Upon his arrival, one snidely said, "She made YOU return them? MY husband is getting ready for the superbowl." They could take some customer service pointers from the kind, older (non pushy) gentleman in the men's big and tall section. Guarantee you if I returned to something of my husband's, he would not be making snide remarks about it.
