We try and shop Ace as often as possible, and this experience did not disappoint! David took the time to really help us pick a new grill/ griddle and walked us through all of our options. We never felt like he was selling us, more so he was genuinely excited to help us make the right decision for our needs and budget and was very knowledgeable on all brands and models! We ended up the Traeger and could not be more pleased with our decision! David is now a significant reason we will continue to shop Ace Hardware, Longmont!

Was working in Longmont and needed a special tool. Headed to ACE and was greeted the moment I walked in. Was asked if I needed any assistance. I described the tool I needed and was directed to the exact spot. They had just what I needed. Great experience. Another wonderful small business that needs our support.

These guys have made a customer for life! I bought a very expensive pellet grill/smoker from them back in Dec ‘22 and had a lot of problems with flare-ups. Anytime the grill went over 350, if there was any grease it would light on fire, which made it pretty useless as a grill. I worked with the manufacturer for months on this issue and they ended up being mostly unhelpful. I had resigned myself to the fact that I had an expensive piece of equipment that was defective and only going to perform 50% of the function it was intended for. It never occurred to me that Ace would be willing to replace the grill for me after 6 months. Fortunately it did occur to my wife and she asked them the last time we were in. The wonderful person working the grill section, June, said she didn’t know for sure, but she took my information down and said she’d have someone call me back. I pretty much put it out of mind and didn’t expect a callback but the next day Veronda, the department manager, called me and apologized for the experience and said they would be happy to replace the grill! I just had to bring in the old one. STILL not wanting to get my hopes up I loaded the grill into my truck the next day and took it to Ace. David helped me pick out my new grill, process the return, pay the difference, and to top it all off…setup the FREE build and Delivery for my new grill. He and a few of the great team over at Ace helped me get the old grill off my truck, I drove away, and I had a beautiful, AND WORKING, grill sitting on my deck in two days. This level of customer service has exceeded all my expectations and has restored my faith in hardware stores. Corny but absolutely true. Thank you Ace!! I am going to eat my amazing smoked burgers now. 🤤

Went in looking for something that said in stocks but wasn't. Still bought a kid pool. I usually love going to ace hardware. However, this time was different. As I continued to browse the store I continually was.folled by one of the associates. She kept asking if I needed help. I feel she targeted me and my family as shoplifters. I did not like this at all. My family is not people who steal from anyone. I ordered setting online today for curbside just because I don't want to feel follow by this woman again.

Literally the worst experience I’ve ever had at one of these stores. I placed an order for a item that was in stock at the store and I could pick it up today. I drove all the way from almost Fort Collins to Longmont to come get them and at first they tried to give my order without saying anything about the ONE THING I DROVE ALL THIS WAY FOR and when I asked they said they don’t have it in store. The cherry on top was in order for me to cancel and get my money back I would either have to wait for it to come in in serval days and have it canceled or cancel my entire order and rebuy the rest of my order. Luckily I had enough to even be able to repurchase everything THAT WAS ALREADY PAID FOR! The employees were nice and tried, but I so severely frustrated and disappointed and will NEVER be back here!!!

I have a hard time visiting this store anymore. I like that Ace is an option among the available home improvement and hardware stores. I go there because they have a great hardware selection. However, you certainly pay the price for it. It’s ridiculous what they charge. That’s fine, I can deal with the pricey hardware. But, most other items you might pick up are also way overpriced. I bought thread locker today and paid $12 for a small tube. This same product is $6.50 everywhere else. Another item I picked up was foam door weatherstripping for $9 that also costs $6.50 at the other stores. The 8mm stainless bolts were $2.80 a piece! I want to support small businesses, but this stuff adds up too quickly here. I walked out with two plastic items, four bolts and a small tube of thread locker for $50.

We will never be the cheapest store in town overall, but we are actively looking for opportunities to make improvements to pricing as the costs from vendors normalize. I've always had positive experiences shopping at this ace and I go quite often. I do like there fairly recent changes it seems more organized but still relearning it but I've always had a fairly knowledgeable worker at the ready to help with the list of odd ball things. Only reason I took a star this trip is they didn't have one of the parts I needed any more and a few of the other items they Only carried in the expensive or upgraded version of so I blew my budget but I got the job done.

Don’t buy Ego products from this location. Good luck trying to get it warrantied or serviced when it stops working. I have a service referral from Ego and they will not fix or replace the product.

I have talked to my supervisors to try to figure out what might have happened in your situation, but I don’t have anyone who is familiar with it. It is true- we are not a servicing dealer, but we are usually able to make customers happy. If you are willing to call the store and ask for a manager- we’ll see what we can do for you.

This place is so outrageously expensive. It’s unbelievable. As an example, I was trying to buy a replacement GFCI outlet for my yard and they had the same single outlet for 34.99 that Home Depot carries for 22.99. I’d rather drive across town any day. I mean just imagine if you had to buy a few things? Crazy.
