"Generally excellent service and selection."
The management team needs to go, including the district and regional levels for allowing this store to operate in the fashion it does. It is consistently out of product, or product is inaccessible due to the fortifications put in place with no sentry available to relinquish said items. There are no cashiers, apparently the covid plague has conspicuously targeted them and left us bereft of their presence. However, there are plenty of warm bodies available to stand around helplessly near the self checkouts! When confronted with an issue, they lack the agency to direct their thoughts toward a solution, often leading to loss of sales rather than assisting. Consistently the self checkout is expectantly 1/2 inoperable as they are obviously the progiby of McDonald's ice cream machines. The staff, what little are around are brash and abrasive. Perhaps they too are emotionally distraught with the loss of their afformentioned comrades due to the plague, or perhaps it is the Gestapoesque LP persons who demand to see receipts whenever one purchases extreme luxury items such as paper towels. Someone really needs to get them the proper attire as blue vests do not properly convey the authority they believe they have. Alas this is not the end of travesties imposed upon the public! There must be no such thing as an overnight crew, as they begin stocking the shelves of what paltry little they do have right around the dinner hour, the busiest time of day! One must dodge and weave between their workers, pallets and to go order carts as a heather branches in the wattle of a tudor home! This has the unfortunate effect of blocking much merchandise, rendering the store obsolete as a place of shopping. One cannot blame the staff as they are mistreated in their domain of endentured servitude, and thus the blame must be placed on their shepherds and their masters as well. Remove these unworthy pretenders and hire actual qualified individuals instead of your lord's mistresses!
You have no cashiers available in the middle of the day on the weekends because the CEOs are "saving money" by not employing hard-working American citizens in my community who would be able to provide actual help to people checking out (a lot of us being disabled, elderly, or with small children). The automatic check-out machines barely work, they mis-scan items constantly, and they often require a live person's intervention anyway. What a disgusting and irresponsible trend in American consumerism. All for the sake of a few rich bozos that have far more than enough money as it is! How absolutely reprehensible! 馃嚭馃嚥
Went in today for chicken and it wasn't even four and the kid was very rude about saying they weren't making any more chicken for the night. Which I knew I would have to wait for it which was OK. And it would of been fine had he not been so rude. Than tried to get a hold of a manager and no one even answered fitting room.
I don鈥檛 know that I鈥檝e shopped anywhere worse than this place honestly. And it wasn鈥檛 one bad experience. It wasn鈥檛 two bad experiences. It is consistently horrible every single time with the exception of some rare employees who make it really great which is the ONLY reason I鈥檝e continued to come back. Brian, one of the cashiers at the self check out that worked today鈥mazing! I鈥檝e never seen a store that goes above and beyond to frustrate their customers as much as this one does. This store continually disappoints and frustrates on every single thing. Between every single thing being locked up and having to wait 15+ minutes only to have to go find someone who then has to find someone else to help you, to not accepting ID鈥檚, to bad attitudes and rude employees who are young kids that are just irritated you interrupted their phone scrolling. I haven鈥檛 left this tote happy ever I don鈥檛 think. But again, Brian, you are awesome!
The store itself is fine, but none of the employees actually want to be there. Getting assistance is, let's say, a challenge. At the same time, does Wally EVER appreciate their employees? Blame the chicken or the egg? As a shopper, I don't have an answer to either of those questions,..but walfart has become an unnecessary necessary evil. And yes, I did say "walfart" because that's what they are.
I will never shop here again. I was stopped at the doors and accused of stealing. I suggested that we review the camera so they could see that absolutely did not and they replied "thats exactly what we are going to do." But we did not. I was taken to a back room arrested by two police officers completely degraded and humiliated just to be profiled as some kind of scumbag thief with absolutely no opportunity to prove my innocence. They helped themselves to my personal belongings and Everything in my bag was paid for. I spent $200. I was still given a ticket and a court date. This happened over a week ago and im still shook up over the experience. My pride is hurt and ive never been so humiliated in my life. Never again will i ever spend another penny here.
Almost every single thing is now locked up and you have to wait forever for someone to help you unlock it. On top of that they are consistently out of what I want or don't have it. This is why Amazon is winning. Worst Walmart I've ever been too and its only gotten worse in the past few months.
If you're not gonna have checkers, the people at the door should not be holding your cart and checking your receipt. I can see if somebody sees you stealing then Yes, at Costco and sam's, you're member, so. Yes, you need to show your receipt, but at Walmart. I tried to avoid going there
Like most retail stores today, there was only the self check out available. Normally, I don't care too much, but I had a full cart of stuff. It would be nice if they had just one lane open.
Update. Struggling w understaffing. Spray paint - sad but understandable I guess - that it needs to be locked up from theft/vandalism, but if you're going to put a press button for assistance option.... be prepared to send assistance to unlock the cabinet.
