I visited the store and bought a large bag of Big Green Egg charcoal. When I got to the register it rang up for more than I thought it said on the label. I told the guy ringing me up and he just shrugged. There was a line and I didn't make a big deal out of it. I came back a couple days later and sure enough I had been overcharged. A manager was standing nearby and I let him know. He scanned it and said I was only overcharged by $2. I went to the car and found the receipt and had been overcharged by $5. When I got to the register I told him and he rolled his eyes and said he would give me $4 back. I told him I had been overcharged by $5 and he rolled his eyes again and gave me my $5. Ace is not the cheapest place. The customer service used to be very good, but this certainly wasn't my experience. I don't know if he thought he was helping out the company by trying to save it the extra dollar but I'm certain that they will lose out on many future dollars for me.

Came to this location as a completely oblivious customer needing help with a metal shelving unit piece. I came in and Michael over at the helpful hub was so quick to help me find what I needed, AND take the time to cut the metal I was purchasing, AND copy a key for me. He was beyond patient with me and so polite, this is definitely the best experience I've had in a situation where I knew absolutely nothing and no idea what I was doing. Everything went perfectly and I got exactly what I needed. Thank you Michael, you are so help and amazing!

Price gouge? Rang up as $44. I got several excuses as to why. The manager got involved.. he offered a marginal discount off $44.. meanwhile the same shovel is $37 at the big box store. If the 4/5 other big boy stores have the same shovel and offer price matching, it seems like the independently owned aces need to up their game. More than likely on any other day i would have ran my card but it shows up pretty obvious when you are only buying one shovel. Does this happen often? Not sure, but the handling of the situation by clerk and the manager were a direct reflection of just accept it. The younger sales clerk seemed to have better sales sense in the situation than both elders. I have shopped here numerous times and found their prices high but sometimes convenient.. maybe 5 minutes longer drive to the big store. In the event that the store owner reads this. It is most certainly not about the money here. It is about the sale and repeated sales. Good luck.

Great service with staff always available to help you find what you need. They have a better selection of nuts and bolts than the big box stores and I haven't had any problems even finding specialty fasteners. They are more expensive than some of the larger stores for most items though

Would not return or even exchange a less than $10.00 item due to the item being “non refundable or refundable on the receipt “in fine print. This was never made clear to me during time of purchase and was going to purchase a $200.00 leaf blower same day I went to return the item. Lost my business today and for the future. Maybe If the clerk was a bit more understanding I would have not left this review. Go shop at Home Depot not Ace hardware.

Great store. I like the smell of a hardware store, something about it feels fresh and real. Friendly staff. Often has great prices/sales on wild bird seed, and a nice variety of lighting fixtures. Plus there are a number of other stores in this shopping plaza that increases the convenience for the shopper.

Staff is always nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. They always have what I need.

Terrible experience, did not need any help or "advice" but the old guy (Roger) literally yelled at me for using pinch clamps instead of buying screw clamps. I did not ask for his unsolicited advice, I have been doing this for 15 years and much prefer pinch clamps. He was an incredibly rude employee!!!! Not a good look, will go to other locations from now on and will avoid this one at all costs. Who allows their employees to yell at the customers???!!!

Didn't carry carpet staples 20 guage 3/16 crown. 9/16 length. Had to go to home depot to get. But they are only available in the flooring department end cap all the way in the back
