We got our counter tops installed a in May and were very unhappy with the huge divot that runs along the countertop. You can see it in the pictures attached. We have reached out to Home Depot on gun club road on multiple occasions. Called the store a dozen times in the last month, emailed with Stephanie who is apparently the only one who can assist with these issues (with no reply), stopped into the store and spoke with a front desk clerk named Sean who said there was no manager on duty (doubtful) and he refused to provide me any contact information for corporate. Had to find the corporate number myself and start a case report with them. Hopefully after a month of being blown off and passed to person to person someone will get back to us. Long story short we do not recommend using home depot for countertop installs!

We purchased a butcher block from this home Depot store. While working with this butcher block, we discovered a lot of manufacturer defects that we could not overcome,. Finally, we realized that this piece cannot be utilized for the kitchen. Most of the defects were discovered after we stained and cut the butcher block. When we brought all pieces of this defective butcher block back to the store for return. Customer relationship manager on duty. Randy told us that he will not accept this return because the butcher block was caught and stained. When we point it out all defects that only could have been discovered after staining and cutting. Randy said that he wouldn't buy this butcher block with those defects in the first place now since we bought this. It is our problem and our loss. He offered to give us half a price back if we buy another butcher block from his store. This statement clearly indicates his acknowledgment of defects in the product that has been sold from the store. I will follow up about this incident with headquarters , however, in the meantime - How the home Depot modo works here "you can do it. We can help" by knowingly selling defective products and not accepting them back?

Had an unpleasant experience with a grumpy old man working for Home Depot as a store greeter. I would think this position would have been given to some one willing to help and greet people.

First, staging product for on-line purchases in the sheet goods isle makes it impossible for those of us that prefer to pick out our own lumber. The plywood isle was full of carts loaded with product that had to be moved just to access the desired bunk. Second, at least 10 sheets of miscellaneous damaged stock was stacked on top of the plywood I needed. This customer believes Home Depot should make the product safely accessable without the customer spending 30 minutes moving loaded carts and erroneous, damaged stock just to access product. When I asked for help, I was told no one was working in lumber for another hour and a half. Come on, Home Depot, you can do better than that. On the plus side, the guy that checked me out was great and the gentleman that assisted in loading the truck was fantastic.

What an awful experience. Purchased a $1200 gift card for my husband (there was a tool chest he has been looking into). Went to purchase the item and the gift card shows $0. Called Home Depot Customer Service and was told they have a new process where they flag gift cards over $1000 and cancel them?! Then I have to send their customer service proof that I have a receipt and an authorization number and it will take them 3 days to return my money. I get it there are a lot of scams and fraudulent transaction but you cancel your own gift cards (not at the time of purchase but 4 hours later) and then make people wait 3 days to get their money (after sending proof that you bought it from 1st place). If you don’t want to sale gift cards with high amounts- don’t. Don’t make people pay for your own silly internal processes. Stupid!

Bought a dishwasher (turns out it’s a piece of junk) in April 2023. In June the dishwasher came detached from the faux cabinet wall that it was adhered to instead of the countertop. Now the dish racks are falling forward due to gravity because it came detached on the bottom. After contacting Home Depot, they stated it is past the 30 days. Apparently you can only plan on your dishwasher being installed properly for 30 days after that you’re out of luck. I highly recommend going to an actual appliance store where the sales people actually know about the appliances and have installers that actually know how to install them properly instead of Home Depot where they are just trying to make a sale. Very very disappointed and will give all my business to Lowe’s after this incident.

Terrible experience with blinds. Ordered blinds 7 months ago but order is still incomplete. No one bothers about customer time. Basically paid money to buy a stress. I wish, had never went and made this purchase.

The 1 star is solely for the customer service we received from Ed at the lumber counter. We went in to buy a new toilet, and after ringing it up, my husband asked if he would be able to get assistance loading it, to which Ed replied he would see if he could, then asked again for payment. My husband responded that he needed to know for sure if he could get assistance otherwise we would not be able to purchase it. At this point, Ed got loud and argumentative stating “I just said I would see if someone would help, sir, do you want it or not?” I, an 8 month pregnant woman, would not have been able to help my husband load the toilet into the car which was the whole reason we needed to know if someone was available for assistance or not. After that, the rest of our encounter with him continued to be rude and dismissive of our question. Another customer next to us in line, noticing how unhelpful and rude Ed was, offered to help my husband instead. We regularly experience poor customer service at Home Depot but have never been treated so rudely. This is one more reason to start frequenting Lowes instead of having to deal with unhelpful workers each time we go in.

Depot advertises 10% discount for military members but this does not include electrical cable, lumber, plywood, OSB and many other items. My "10% MILITARY discount" on $400 of the above items was ZERO! Thanks a lot Home Depot for supporting the military with so many EXCLUSIONS.

Tapcon if you need to install a screw in concrete, do not buy a Tapcon Drill bit, it died on the first hole. I bought Milwaukee drill bit best option
